During a game of NesToony (hosted by yours truly, sponsored by many companies from all over the NesteeVerse), many players of many teams (who are placed in separate 4-person podiums) are competing in 50 gag-filled nail-biting rounds for a chance to win immunity, as well as a trip to Conjunction Junction (what's your function!?). The game begins with a silhouette quiz which Nestee called "Peek-a-Boo", and the subject is what appears to be a round-ish object. Once the shape is revealed, contestants all over the stadium immediately ring-in and shout the answers that were briefly hanging around in their heads. The Purple Wind's answer is "big egg", the Whammy's answer is, not money-related but "boiled egg and Kirby (looking high-tech this time thanks to wearing both his translation collar and the Genius Disguise, while standing on a hovering platform), without pressing the button rapidly and aggressively like Wario and that money-stealing red freak, answers with "a giant ink stain". When Nestee reveals the real object unhidden, are they all gonna be right? Disguises used: Thief (Wario) Genius (Kirby) Reporter (Nestee) (users of the Reporter disguise can not only break the news, but also host games like Nestee) Location this short takes place in: NesteeLand Stadium Collectisode this short belongs in: Has Anyone Seen My Glasses?
Audio: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Trivia: NesToony is a parody of the animated game show Skatoony (which was one of my old interests from NesteeLand's first year). Speaking of Skatoony, host Chudd Chudders and the Earl are contestant 2006 (reference to the year in which the Skatoony animated series premiered on Cartoon Network) and are Job/Duo/Looney class. The name of the Collectisode "Has Anyone Seen My Glasses" is a reference to the line Chudd Chudders says while making an entrance in the beginning of almost every episode of the aforementioned show. The trip to Conjunction Junction isn't actually the real prize of Crossover Shorts '26. The actual real prize is... You can take a wild guess. The prize of NesToony reveals a new series joining the show that is none other than Schoolhouse Rock! (does anyone remember listening to the songs?). This short reveals that, along with her reality-warping and meta arsenal, Nestee can change her voice to mimic any character imaginable, in this case an American-accented male. The reason why Kirby is on a hovering platform (as shown in the project) is because when Nestee gave him the Genius disguise and a translation collar, she noticed that he is too short to ring-in properly. Also the platform is linked to Genius Kirby's helmet, as he can move freely and/or around the environment using purely his mind (sort of like telekinesis but for controlling high-tech vehicles like this one). Not only that Kirby is equipped with a hovering platform when wearing the Genius disguise, but other short characters are such as contestants of the LocoRoco species (e.g. Kulche) and more. This does not apply to characters who always float mid-aid (e.g. Lightning). The reason why Lloyd and Harry didn't answer is because... Well, they're too stupid to do so. The advertising banners in the background are references (in order of appearance): A banner advertising Tangies (yes, the same biscuits seen in the "Full Moon, Half Moon, Total Eclipse" commercial, in which you can watch here: Another banner advertising an in-universe series starring the so-called Lunchables Brigade, a quad of reskinned pre-made Scratch characters, which is a reference to one of my older projects from 2022, in which you can watch here: (keep in mind that TF! Dot and The 7D Logo aren't in the banner because of budget constraints). A third banner advertising Waffle Chalet, a chain of restaurants that sell many different types of waffles (such as but not limited to waffle-stuffed waffles, face-laminated waffles, Waffle Bitty-Bits, Ala-Ka-Jam Waffles, high-fiber prune waffles, liquid waffles in bottles, chicken waffles with waffles syrup and Spicy Waffles). It originates from "The Jollywood Games", an episode of The 7D. Speaking of Waffle Chalet, there are numerous kiosks that can be found across the stadium. A fourth banner advertising Disguise Force, an old series of mine that is like a Wario: Master of Disguise-themed tokusatsu team. It even has a studio, in which you can check out here: Credits go to Warner Bros. Discovery/Talent TV/Marblemedia/Smiley Guy Studios/Blink for Skatoony, Nintendo/Suzak for the Purple Wind and the Genius disguise, HAL Laboratory for Kirby, ABC/CBS/Fremantle for the Whammy, Village Roadshow Pictures/New Line Cinema for Lloyd and Harry, Oscar Mayer for the "Lunchables Brigade", the Walt Disney Company for Waffle Chalet and ABC for Conjunction Junction.
