hi, i'm samael (or sam), i'm 13, i go by he/him currently, and i'm in the eastern timezone. i became active in gaehive around september 2025 (back on @halfwayharvey), though i would occasionally pop in some time before that. i can generally be online most of the day, save for around 7am to 3:30pm on school days, during which i will almost never have any way to get onto scratch unfortunately, though my school year will be ending in late june. i already spend much of my time on scratch, so other than school, activity shouldn't be any issue. i won't say i'm without my biases, though i've gotten much better over time at ignoring them and assessing situations as they are when it's needed. i also believe that i can be decently mature for my age, at least when i put my mind to it, and i have been told as such by others as well. i also like to think i was at least moderately well-liked during my short time as a gwdfi manager. with that experience, i have some of an idea of what i'm getting myself into. however, i have never been the best when it comes to confrontation, especially when it comes to me making potentially crucial mistakes, though it's easier for me online. i can have a hard time accepting harsh criticisms and being the one to confront those who need to be confronted when i find that they might be scary to me. i can also be a huge procrastinator no matter how much time i get to do things. i am working on all of these problems and more to the best of my ability. while i can explain to people why i think technically they are in the wrong or right in situations, i don't find i'm good at comforting people who may be hurt by drama or otherwise might need it (though i can be a good listener). i can be quite creative when i give myself some space to think, which can help with making host shifts more interesting as well as solving problems. i also believe i would be the youngest manager (at least as of now) if i were to be promoted, which could help me connect with, help, and understand younger gaehive users. while i don't have any particular ideas to improve the studio as of right now, i am interested in helping to change it for the better, and i am willing to spend good chunks of my free time helping to brainstorm and implement changes if need be. i believe that being a gaehive manager entails being a decently active and helpful addition to the studio, able to help curators and fellow managers when needed, a mature and unbiased enough person to think critically about drama and other situations and accept constructive criticism, and being able to handle some unexpected issues being thrown your way, among some other things. two people i would recommend for the managers to promote are and . while i don't know the latter as well, nor do i know exactly if either one is interested in managing, i have seen that both tend to help around in discusshive and seem to be mature and overall likeable people. thank you for considering me, managers, and good luck with promotions to you and all applying candidates.
