I'm just trying to watch the Artemis II re-entry and STS-107's flight engineer/MS-2, Kalpana Chawla, is staring at me. It doesn't help that she's wearing a bright orange space suit. I hope this doesn't bring Orion bad luck. RIP STS-107, lost on reentry in 2003. With the lower quality of the photo on here, it kind of looks like she has a mischievous smile. She doesn't on the higher quality photo. Edit: my exact thought process: "KC, stop staring at me! Let me watch the reentry. I get it, you didn't make it through reentry, but let's hope they do...partially because it works better for my time travel story."
This is a joke Uhh YT reveal I guess? So many YT tabs open...mostly on the NASA disasters. Also the Internet Archive, SpaceFacts.de, CT, and FR24. Edit: less than 16 min left! Edit: Splashdown! Edit: on the news is the reaction at the Columbia Science Center, one of many Challenger Centers. (Yes, it honors both shuttle disasters and I just got 3 messages where people loved/favorited my Challenger project) Edit: also Stephen Colbert, Hank Green, and Jeremy Hansen?! at the bottom right
