Twice faster is not fast enough I tested on my friend's PC. The project initially started with 11 FPS at res 1 with noticeable artifacting. After removing bilinear filtering, it jumped to 16-17. I did a quick few obvious optimizations to bump it to 22-26 FPS. This map has unfortunately low quality UVs, since I couldn't fit the full lightmap under the 5 MB limit. Although 24 FPS for single-pixel resolution is unacceptable, this made me somewhat hopeful, as span tree rasterization is not considered the most robust implementation. Spanning combined with Active Edge List(AEL) can potentially push past these speeds. Dango map asset and BSP file format are my work.
