[Plaintext version below.] Hey, hey! I'm Matt. I'm a cisgender lesbian. I've been active on Scratch for about five years, and a hive patron for three. I fall between the ages of fourteen and seventeen, and I'm located in the Eastern Standard Timezone (EST). I'm most active at night between the hours of 9:00 PM and 12:00 AM, though I occasionally come on during the day. I believe I could make a good manager because I perceive myself as social and empathetic. I always try to help people through hard times and brighten up the place! I want everyone to be heard and seen on the Hive. I'm good with confrontation, since I try to handle situations on how they're perceived. I also hold leadership positions within school clubs such as National Beta Club, Science Olympiad and School Government. Some downsides to me being a manager are my perfectionism and busy schedule. Both of the mentioned downsides can lead me to feeling very drained and depressive, though I try not to let it get in the way of the way I treat others. Sometimes this can lead to periods of inactivity, though they present themselves very infrequently. For unique things I could bring to the manager position, I think I could bring more user participation in, and an overall friendly vibe. I know this response is a bit generic, but I want to be earnest. In the realm of Hive improvement, I don't have too many ideas as of now, though I want to increase user engagement. I think we could add some more interactive things to do involving our curators. I always thought the elimination game was fun, and Hive art challenges would also be cool! The responsibilities of a manager entail staying positive and supportive, while creating boundaries in which you can redirect users! A manager should stay firm on their expectations and mature on their stances, without being hostile or aggressive. A manager is also expected to be active and helpful to the studio! Two other members I recommend promoting are @Robloxer_RebelGirl and @SentientHats. @Robloxer_RebelGirl is always kind when reminding users of warnings to use and polite when chatting! @SentientHats always brings a good energy and open mind to the Hive. I enjoy chatting with them! Thank you for considering my application!
