Music by: C418 Song name: Mellohi There was a LOT of clicking and looking around :sob: I will update this as I look around more, though I'm sure I will forget to do so for a month or more. "That's the most!" Aaannnnyyyywaaayyyysss..... https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/ringringring I think I accidentally found the ending part? (No, I'm not exactly sure what I found, but I don't think it's the last part.. There's supposed to be a trophy, a butterfly made up of the bugs we crushed. Though I'm not 100% sure) (I'm lowkey sped bro- that's the beginning) What a catch! Specimen L. https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/stickers Hook, line, and sinker! Specimen P. https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/food I'm proud of you! Specimen E. https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/echo Okay, we get to this link: https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/our-home (Here, it's a bit strange... We see Julie's home from which seems to be an eye? A bit lower down you can see a blue line. I can't tell if it was a mistake, or if it's important.. It stands out and I've tried clicking on it, zooming out, Zooming in, dragging it to see if it's an image, but nothing works so far..) To get to: https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/ourhome/julie Which in turn gets us: Finish It. Specimen A. https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/ourhome/letter I remember accidentally finding it a while back, I almost forgot.. I got lucky I found it to be fair.. Transcript for that one since it's the most important (I'd assume at least): "You are very good at this game! Keep going. Come back to our home when you have it. All six pieces." Six... I'm halfway there https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/ourhome/phone Thunder? Why?.. There are other sounds.. I wish I had a spectrogram... https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/ourhome/window Is that a grave? A reflection of a door? It seems as though there is audio playing despite the fact that I can't hear it... A shame I can't look into the code, would have made things easier I recall seeing some numbers every now and then, One I remember is 120. I can't tell if it's important or not... Well, my memory isn't the best so don't count on me for that Like shooting bugs in a barrel! Specimen R. https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/floriographyboard I myself didn't find it.. I doubt I was going to find it anytime soon, due to how easily I give up ^^' I can't believe how close I was to it though! Anyways, the way I found it was through a YouTube video showing me where it is, I'll post the links. I got lucky, they have the others too! Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ConMbxYBsYc Wow! What a whopper! Specimen C. https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/sweetlavender Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kblCs34QBRE&t=33s The person who found it said they just searched up the right word and don't know what you do to get there. Such a shame, I would like to see how exactly you would get there, but a school Chromebook is all I have, and a lot of things are blocked.. Anyways.. I was also pretty close to finding this one.. I knew it had to do something about flowers... I thought it was going to be "sweetbriar". At least I got the first word right.. What do Sweet briars and lavenders have in common?Other than the fact that they're flowers of course. Is it more symbolic or more literal? I'll try searching it up. "Both plants are highly aromatic." "Both are woody, perennial shrubs that can be used for structural purposes in a garden" "Both plants are magnets for pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects." Ah... Butterflies.. "Both are used for fragrance." "Both thrive in sunny locations." "Lavender is often used as a companion plant for roses, including briar roses, because it can help repel pests like aphids." Ahh, there is this black bug that I've seen and it's always pretty close to where you could find the specimens, so maybe it's an aphid? Whenever you click on it, it barks. Also, on Frank's dedicated page, you click on his house and image of him petting the bug, it's rather cute.. Here's the link just in case you don't know what I'm talking about: https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/frank I also searched up what both flowers have in common in terms of symbolism "Sweet briars (eglantine rose) and lavenders share a symbolic language rooted in healing, purification, and the bittersweet nature of love. Both plants are frequently associated with soothing emotional wounds or calming the spirit, often functioning as symbols of protection and, in the language of flowers, as gestures of care." That's really sweet... Did you know, Julie has a picture of Frank in a heart shaped frame. Pretty cute, huh? https://welcomehomerestorationproject.net/ourhome/parcel That's where you get the trophy. I would have never guessed that, so the person who posted the video was a lot of help. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rzdUXj6Hys
Uhh... The instructions part was too long apparently :P I SPENT A WHOLE HOUR AND A HALF WRITING THE ADDED STUFF HOLY- Anyways... I finished watching the video and, wow. I was right about the first one not being the ending part, and the butterfly made up of the crushed bugs lol Anyways, are the flowers like citizens to them? Is that why uprooting the flower was such a big deal for Julie? So was that basically like oofing someone? There's so much going on... I don't think I will be investigating any further for a while, this was fun though! I really hope game theory makes a video on this, if they have, I can't see it due to the restrictions added onto this laptop... Anyways, if anyone does read all this, then this is the ending. I hope you enjoyed it though! Uhhhhhhh so I want to add a bit more, since I REALLY want to figure out how you get to specimen C. And in the same place you're able to find a clue to get to specimen R., there's a card with a lavender. I wanted to know, why? Why lavender? And so I decided to look around to see if there are any mentions of lavender whatsoever.. That is the only one so far. I'll keep looking for more. I didn't really find any clues BUT I did go back and watched the video for specimen C. and when there's a few frames where Mr. Dear replaces Julie, the flowers are well, I don't know one.. Roses? Pink Roses? But also, Lavenders! OOoooohohohohoh! Sweet Briars for Julie, and Lavenders for Mr. Dear! Also, what does Frank mean by "Does he not remember? ...Remember me?" What happened? Am I meant to know? I just finished watching one of the storybook videos and I really enjoyed it. It was the Primrella one. One thing I found odd was that when Frank (Playing as the prince yet again) said " I feel like I’m bound to be." (Basically confessing to Julie, who is playing as Primrella) The audio becomes weird... Why is that so? Hmm.... This is straight from the transcript: Frank: "Yes. This feeling... It’s indescribable…" JULIE: "Won’t you describe it for me anyways?" FRANK "Yes... Yes, of course. I... I feel- [Audio recording suddenly warps. Frank’s voice drops several pitches.] I feel like I’m bound to be." But, why? Is there something much darker that's going on with him? Is this meant to be like a ship? Or does he feel like he's bound by something? I was wondering what all the letters for each specimen were for and I realized it's just "parcel" jumbled up. I mean, it's not that hard to figure out. I'm still confused how you get to "sweetlavender" though... OHOHOHOHOHOHHHOHHHHHHHH I JUST WATCHED THE MOST RECENT GAME THEORY EPISODE AND I'M SO HAPPY!!!!! Basically, I found the way you got "sweetlavender"!!! You were meant to look into the code!! I WANTED TO DO THAT SO BAD BUT THIS SCHOOL BLOCKED DOING THAT BRO!!!111!!!!!!!11!!1!!!1!1111 The clues that the words had "sweet" and a flower. Stuff I already knew. Tom Robinson said that on the merch website the plushies of some of the characters had pins of flowers on them. (Four in total.) And on the welcome home page, scrolling down to the bottom, you can see that Eddie (Mr.Dear) has a lavender behind his ear. He's also growing lavenders around his post office!!!! Now. Why lavenders? Apparently Frank and Eddie are a couple canonically. (DUDE I THOUGHT I WAS DELUSIONAL FOR SHIPPING THEM) Keep in mind that it's a 70's "kids" show. The LGBTQ+ community is shunned upon at that time. Lavenders are associated with the LGBTQ+ community. And in the 1960's there was something called "The lavender scare". Around that time the current president banned homos from working federal jobs, so obviously, Eddie and Frank are hiding their relationship. 1. WOWOWOWOW MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS ARE DATING, I'M SO HAPPY AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH 2. THAT'S SO SAD BRO WHYYYYY????? >:( At first, I thought Julie and Frank had a thing for each other, seeing how close they are. But after seeing Specimen C., I thought it was a sort of love triangle.. Julie likes Frank, Frank like Eddie, and I don't know about Eddie... Bro, they're so gay for each other bro.. Anyways, that's why they picked lavender, to represent the gay couple and how they're forced to hide their relationship just so that they don't lose their jobs... I wish I could post the link to the game theory video but I kinda used something that was kinda against the rules to watch it since it was blocked lol It's a shame I can't visit awayfrompryingeyes.net because of this stupid schools permissions bro.. It's categorized as "Forums". Meaning I can't even visit Wiki's. Though, if you guys are interested, then you should take a look at it. Apparently the website's gonna get an update over the summer, I can't wait! I want to find everything by myself this time.
