Fibi leaped smoothly from multiple towering skyscrapers, her twin mask tails flowing freely in the wind. Her small, narrowed eyelids scanned the colorful backdrop, which stood out to her like a mass of star-spangled rainwaves tapping on jeweled pools of muddy brown water. She would've stopped to smell the roses, to crack a well-meaning pun, but this was a crucial situation. Her mouth opened widely to let out a nerve-wracking groan as she remembered what she was here for, or at least what needed to be done. "Leo, wait up!" she shouted, practically stumbling over herself in an effort to keep up with his nimble lightning footsteps. Her pupils dilated with concentration--speed was her strong suit, but it was also so for the red-earred slider. "Again, portals are cheating!" They had been racing against time for thirty minutes or so, and she had been losing because of his severely unfair advantage. "Come on!" she cursed, sliding down the rooftops effortlessly. "Arrghh..." Frankly, being the oldest sister had its ups and downs. One being that she got to boss them around, and another stating that they never listened. "Why don't you ever stop when I tell you to?" she asked, her fingers curling into frustrated balls as she followed suit. "Because I'm the champion!" he called back in telltale singsong, leaping from swirling vortex to swirling vortex. His smile was smug, showcasing his pearly white teeth, and it only served to anger her further. "Say it with me! I'm K-king Leon! King Leon! I am Leon, baby!" She rolled her eyes playfully at him, biting back a snarky retort on the bottom of her lips. Because she didn't want to set a bad example, not really, she couldn't afford to say it out loud. "Sure thing, bluebell." His eyes widened at the nickname. "Don't call me that! Y'know I'm too old for that kind of thing." As he spoke, his eyes flickered with electricity and gravitated between his outstretched fingers. "Seriously. Sometimes you're fun, but other times you're just like Raph." Her fingers latched on and drummed to the rhythm of a skilled acrobat, making her own unique way across a thinly-sliced tightrope. "I'm going to take that as a compliment," she grinned, showing off with a few neat backflips and cartwheels of her own. He scoffed audibly at her talent, flipping his mask tails in the frosted night air. "Yeah, right. Try and catch up!" he started, vanishing from his earlier perching spot and leaping off the building entirely. Since she was used to his mischievous antics, she just laughed along with the joke and hurried faster than ever before. As she began quickening her pace, she intentionally ignored everything else in the great metropolis. She didn't stop to take in the view, even as people shouted and sirens hummed in the background. "Hold on..sirens?" she mumbled, suddenly halting to a stop. In the frantic rush, she collapsed from the landline she had been balancing her way across. Her arms flailed around for a safe window or balcony to latch on and hurl herself into, but couldn't properly claim their grip. As her acceleration increased, she catastrophically collapsed into an awaiting trash dumpster. "I've gotta tell Leo..." Dusting herself off, she pulled herself to her feet and took a moment to properly survey her surroundings. By the looks of it, she had fallen in a darkened alley with a stink-filled, freshly-peeled banana sticking to her head. "Greatt.." she cursed mentally, ripping it clean off. Before she could adjust or glimpse whoever it was, someone caressed her cheek and wiped the absolutely filthy gunk off her scaled beak. Her pupils dilated in shock as she realized that there was a foreign presence behind her. Who wanted to spend their time in a severely trashed-up corridor? Not her, for sure. She promptly whipped out her kerambit blade, jabbing it at the intruder. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she instinctively adjusted into a trained battle stance, her legs poised to kick anyone who neared her. "Show yourself! I have to go deal with some police, so make it quick," she stated, fanning her feet out across the concrete pavement. Her eyes widened when the mysterious figure finally uttered a single phrase. "Anata wa hijori janai," they whispered in her ear. "We have been trying to get your attention for some time now, if you are willing to listen."
@VINNY_don for his wonderful sister OC and fanart! ^^ According to the information in your bio, she has Leo's personality but more serious--I tried to adjust it so the description fits. Thank you so much for the art you've been drawing for me and etc! <3 I couldn't write this because of the storm preparations, but it's okay now.
