Rock Hollow is the mainland of the Desolate Isles (in production). Geography: Rock Hollow, as the name suggests, is made of sand and rock. It is pretty hilly and has many mountains and extensive cave systems. Though not being an isle itself, it is considered part of the Desolate Isles. There are some small forests, but they mostly consist of dead trees and dying plants. There are fields of long grasses, but they stay yellow year-round. Climate: The climate is mild, hot summers, cool winters. It is always windy. Economy: Rock Hollow relies on its mining industry. Coal is abundant, along with oil and other fossil fuels. These resources are imported to other locations. There was a gold rush many years ago, but it is believed all the gold and precious minerals have been excavated, causing many mountains to be on the verge of collapse from strip mining. There are farmers, but they don't do well since there is mostly sand and hardly any fertile land. There is also a successful construction industry, with many workers traveling around the world to build buildings for other cities. People/Housing: The inhabitants of Rock Hollow live it stone houses, often self-built. Their diets compose of fish and meat from the livestock raised. Not many fruits and vegetables can grow in the sandy soil, and the ones that do are small and sour. >That's it for now, may be updated<
