It's a brief cover of the events, but the final piece you'd need to know is that after the anit-epiphany Squidd has because of the infection, he finds Vulcan, a place where he can become a god and cause ultimate chaos, and forms a tear in space (like the one that brought him to the Warp) that he steps through to get to Vulcan.
