Click “Remix” on the project to create your own copy. Add or record an audio track in the project. Play the audio and set costume changes on the Lip Sync sprite’s timeline (frames or when broadcasts occur). Use the provided costumes labeled for mouth shapes (e.g., A/E, O, M/B/P, rest) to match the phonemes in the audio. Broadcast or trigger the target character to change costumes in sync with the audio. Use the built-in timeline markers (add draggable sprites or a list of timestamps) to mark start/end of phonemes for precise editing. Turn on snap-to-grid for timeline markers to align costume changes to frame increments or beats. Use a zoomable waveform viewer (import waveform images or script a simple zoom) to visually match mouth shapes to peaks. Enable playback loop for a selected segment to refine timing without replaying the whole audio. Use keyboard shortcuts: left/right arrows to nudge the current marker by small increments, space to play/pause. Add a preview mode that hides editing UI and plays the final synced animation. Include per-sprite offset variables so multiple characters can have independent lip offsets for different mouth rigs. Add export timestamps: a button that copies the viseme-timestamp list to a Scratch list or the clipboard for reuse. Provide import timestamps: paste a list of timestamps/costume names to auto-place markers. Implement per-language presets mapping phonemes to visemes (English, Spanish, etc.) for easier mapping. Add randomize and cleanup tools: randomize mouth poses for gag effects, or auto-collapse duplicate consecutive same poses. Offer an auto-suggest helper where you manually mark a few key phonemes and the script interpolates likely intermediate shapes. Include frame-rate settings so timing can be adjusted for different project tempos. Add undo/redo stacks for marker and timestamp edits. Provide visual labels for each marker showing the intended phoneme or costume name. Add help overlays and a simple guided tutorial sprite that walks new users through the project.
