In the IRL world (Earth), "I'm Just a Bill" is a 1976 Schoolhouse Rock! segment, featuring a song of the same title written by Dave Frishberg. The segment debuted as part of "America Rock", the third season of the Schoolhouse Rock! series. First aired on March 27, 1976 on the US television network ABC, the segment covers the steps on how a bill in the United States Congress becomes a law through song. The song was voted as second best on the Schoolhouse Rock! Special 30th Anniversary Edition. TV Guide named the anthropomorphic character "Bill" as the 34th greatest cartoon character of all time. However in the NesteeVerse, "I'm Just a Bill" is a chart-topping single composed by Bill himself that spawned a music video, merchandise, concerts, world tours and even remixes and memes on the NesteeNet. It was so popular it even surpassed the likes of HUNTR/X, the Ruffer Guyz and the Baljeatles. The reason why he and all Schoolhouse Rock characters are classified as "Audio" is because they originated from a piece of media of the musical genre. His last name (my headcanon), "McCall", is a reference to David McCall, the creator of Schoolhouse Rock!. If he, or any other Schoolhouse Rock! character were to use the Sparky disguise, then his appearance would reference the "Electricity, Electricity" song. Credits to David McCall/ABC for the bill on Capitol Hill.
