full title: . how to befriend the queen bean... I mean bee.. it's just me yapping about Sandkit. i don't really want to make a relationship finder for her just yet, but I wanna have a place to yap about her social liiiiiife. also includes some more Sandy doodles. ---- ok ok. Sandkit is a very arrogant cat. which already makes her pretty difficult to befriend. except she already has like two friends already so maybe that's not true- (i think it's her sassy-ness that's winning them over or something lol.) luckily, San is outgoing and will attempt to make friends. These kind of friends are the kind I'm gonna call the 'purposeful' ones. purposeful friends. It's basically when Sandy approaches some random kit and is like, "you're my friend now" and snatches them. what's wrong with this method? for one, ... uh. she literally just picks randos. It doesn't matter if the two have chemistry (almost just typed chemicals) together, she'll just try to force this friendship. neither is Sandy the most caring or compassionate so this friend is most likely to become some type of worker bee to the Queen bee because Sandy'll just boss them around. This is just if that cat doesn't decline. Sandy might argue or sass the cats that decline her and tell them that they're in the wrong. since San is the Queen and everyone should want to be friends with the Queen. but those aren't the only routes to go. people can become friends by. like. just talking. though it may take a bit for Sandkit to consider these people her friends. these relationships are the ones most likely to stick because they've stood the test of Sandkit's selfishness. ---- blaring issues not saying that being friends with Sandkit is going to be a problem. but it's going to cause problems. Sandkit's biggest problem with being friends with people is probably gonna be showing vulnerability and opening up. I feel like a meaningful friendship would need those. but Sandkit likes keeping appearances. and she doesn't let people see that she's human. (or cat. human as in she makes mistakes but she's a cat.) if Sandy won't acknowledge (or even recognize) her own flaws, how are people going to know the real Sandkit? her second biggest problem is caring about people. my dudes, she is selfish. it takes a lot to get her to care about someone else. guys. she doesn't even bother to memorize her littermates' names!!! when she goes out to make friends, she's more looking to have those 'friends' so she can say she has some. or that so she can use them for something. this isn't a conscious thing, either, her idea of friendship is just twisted. ---- love language if there's one thing Sandkit does, it's try. she does try to be these people's friends. in her own funny little way. "love language" in this context is especially going to include platonic and friendly love. so her love language is quality time and gifts. She'll actively seek out the cats she's trying to befriend and spend time with them. so like. I'll be stealing peoples' orps whenever I can lol. Gifts can include flower crowns, flower earpieces, or just flowers since Sandkit is quite skilled in the flower craft (at the moment). she might give them to potential friends in attempt to win them over or make them feel special.
