SCENE 1: The movie opens with pixelated static before fading to reveal a figure shrouded in darkness. It’s apple, a member of the Scratch Team. The camera shakes as he whispers, “There’s no time for an explanation, they’re looking for me.” He pauses, glancing around nervously. “This message is going out to everyone… the end of Scratch as we know it is approaching. It may seem crazy, but it’s true. I’ve done my best to help, but my hands are tied behind my back. I sent out an item as a last-ditch resort that holds enough creativity to at least slow THEM down.” Footsteps echo, and he glances toward the sound. “I gotta hurry… the only way for anyone to do this is to…” but the video abruptly cuts to black as people in black drag him away. He yells, “Three weeks till the deletion!” before the camera falls over. SCENE 2: The scene shifts to a Scratcher meetup where a static screen sits to the left. When the screen turns black, chaos erupts: some laugh, claiming it’s an April Fool’s joke, while others argue this could actually happen. Amid the confusion, banana steps forward, shouting, “SILENCE!” The room quiets. “Whether this is real or not, don’t we all care enough about Scratch to check it out? I plan to figure this all out. If anyone else cares to join, speak up.” A pause follows until a voice whispers, “I’m in,” and others chime in. “Is that really all?” banana asks. “Fine, we’ll find this thing ourselves,” they say, and the small group of banana, pear, grape, cherry, lemon, and berry walk out, leaving the rest behind. SCENE 3: The story then cuts to a dark hallway outside Scratch Cat’s office. The camera zooms in on the desk as Scratch Cat commands, “Bring him in.” Two masked figures drag apple into the room, tied to a chair, his muffled screams echoing. Scratch Cat approaches, pulls the mask off, revealing apple’s terrified face. “Huh? Oh… um… hey… Scratch Cat,” he stammers. “I thought I could trust you,” Scratch Cat begins calmly, then his voice rises, “You decided to go behind my back and spoil EVERYTHING!” “It’s only because people’s lives were threatened!” apple screams. Scratch Cat walks back to his desk, pulling out the Scratch Delete Tool. “What are you gonna do now? Ban me?” apple pleads. “No,” Scratch Cat replies sinisterly, “I think I know a much… better way to handle this.” He shoves the tool into apple’s face; moments later, the chair is empty. “Get this chair out of my office,” Scratch Cat orders, and the masked figures comply. one asks, “Sir, what about the item?”, “Delete all projects… until you find it,” Scratch Cat replies. “Understood, sir,” they nod, leaving the office. SCENE 4: The narrative then follows the team as they recruit Scratchers and send them out to search for items, while posters of the group appear on noticeboards marking them as fugitives. Meanwhile, millions of projects begin disappearing from the Scratch Explore page. A news reporter, peach, announces, “Millions of projects and people have been reported missing. Extra patrols from Scratch HQ are roaming the site, likely tied to a mysterious video from days ago warning of the end of Scratch. At first laughed at, more people are now starting to believe it. A team of Scratchers determined to find the mysterious item are considered fugitives, but they are the only thing stopping the end as we know it. Help them if you can.” SCENE 5: The group sneaks into a dark project, spreading out. banana whispers, “Spread out, guys,” but lemon trips over a code block, setting off alarms as the project begins to delete itself. Panic ensues as the team frantically searches for an exit. Berry runs toward the code blocks that slow deletion, ignoring pleas to return. Pear tries to grab him, but berry activates a “move 10 steps” block, propelling everyone forward and out just as the exit door closes. They watch berry vanish into the void. lemon murmurs, “It’s all my fault… I should’ve been more careful.” “It’s not your fault,” banana replies. “It could’ve been any of us; it was bound to happen eventually.” Helicopters appear overhead, and the group retreats, glancing back at the spot where Berry disappeared. SCENE 6: Back at the homebase studio, grape addresses the group. “As you know, a man was lost today; he sacrificed himself so we could continue our mission to restore Scratch to its former glory. Things may seem bleak, but we are the last line of defense.” kiwi interrupts, “Your way doesn’t work. Hiding hasn’t helped! We’re losing. The mysterious item doesn’t exist! The only hope we have is striking them first. All those who care enough for the people to not risk anyone else, follow me...” Half the group, led by kiwi, storms out. The remaining team gathers all collected items, spreading them on the floor. “Well, let’s get searching,” banana says, as part one ends and the credits roll.
