Sorry for not posting! Here is a cool lil silkwing design to make it up to my villagers. (This is all not canon to the wof books btw, just my wof world lol) The silkwing is an interesting specimen adapted to living in a species of trees long extinct due to the Hivewings attempt to rule all Pantala. These trees had canopies that touched the clouds and dragon sized flowers that dazzled like gems. Some ledgends even say the trees moved on their own and were willing to die for the silkwings. The most vulnerable part of Silkwings is their fluffy fur (yes, fur!) underside. This fluff was formally used to pollinate the massive flowers. Also like butterflies, their tongues are thin and long (used for drinking & eating nectar, but they have adapted to also eat solid food), they smell through their antennae, and have the most powerful sense of taste of any dragon- but it is through their talons. The tribe is ununited, there really is no Silkwing Kingdom (at least not since the Hivewings took over). Today, silkwings can be found in every tribe and side with wherever they call home patriotically even if no other silkwings live there.
