"You think the devil has horns? Well, so did I But I was wrong, his hair is combed, and he wears a suit and tie. He's nice, polite, he'll catch you by surprise. A smile so bright, you'd never bat an eye" -Devil In Disguise by Marino = Her breaths were quick & a tad fearful. In her left hand she held a lighter. The juice within it was almost out. She had used it many times for lighting something to smoke. The looks often they’d get from others. Disgust, anger, awe & so on. But they never cared nor noticed them overly much. After all others merely watched & most were too cowardly to tell her to stop. The few that did speak she just scoff or puff a smokey cloud into their faces. With one heavy sigh she shook the small lighter attempting to get one final kick out of it.She would mutter and curse as she kept shaking it until a small flame light.Weak and weary like the forest itself.Lighting the last candle they sighed before closing their eyes and muttering words. “You watch from afar…You see from all…Your name is poison on lips…Yet tonight I speak your name for a deal I may wish…” They waited for a few minutes hoping that something would happen.Keeping their eyes shut they listened to the forest singing it’s song. With the birds chirping their final melodies before rest, the dripping water from earlier…it was so peaceful and here she was.Sitting alone with candles summoning something that was the opposite of this forest. After a while she felt defeated.Nothing was happening.”It’s fake…” They’d mumble to themselves. All this work for nothing. The amount of thing she had to steal for this stupid summoning. She opened her eyes expecting the same dim lit forest from the candles yet instead it was a void. The candles still surround her yet the rest was…nothing.Only an ever long black space. Getting up her movements were even more shaky. She had never seen somewhere like this. Where the silence felt deadly. She only broke it out of fear with simple words “H-Hello?” They said with a sharp pitch. They felt like a rabbit in a forest filled with wolves. They never fully expected someone to reply let alone tap them on the back with a grin. The second that happened they jumped back falling out of the ring of candles. They looked at this…being? With a combination of fear and awe. Her hair an orange color that seemed straight yet curled a few times. Her height being tall yet it was of heels. Perhaps they were short without them.Perhaps they wanted to be taller than others to appear more threatening. Yet the one feature that caught their eye was her skin & face. Her skin light and pale at times like the sun never reached her yet her body had strands of a false black color wrapping around her like thorns. Some started from her fingers and slowly wrapped around her throat. And her eyes…there weren’t two but three…One green, one purple and one blue. Two were of a same size yet one wasn’t. it rested underneath the left eye. Her clothing was strange but normal. A button up grey shirt with a jacket. But that hat…she felt it staring into their soul with an unsatisfied hunger. They only snapped back to this reality when her hands cupped her face.Cold…thats how they felt. Like an ever freezing chill. Their eyes went up as the orange hair woman spoke “So…back to our reality now ay?” She'd chuckle afterwards. "Now how bout we get ya standing" The orange hair woman practically lifted them up onto their feet. Letting go of their cheeks she dusted her hands off on her coat before speaking "...Now...whats the name?" "...Leto" They spoke finally out of the awe they were once in. She held her hand out towards Leto for a kind gesture before she spoke her name "Ay...Leto huh?Forgotten or hidden ya parents wanted huh?...Call me Visha. Not the whole 'Watcher' or 'The poison name' deal alright?" The orange hair women would say while stretching. With a huff Visha looked at Leto again with a grin on her face. “So what’s the deal you call me for? After all you don’t look like a chum who’d merely do this as a prank or a dare.” Visha chirped with a tone of curiosity. Leto movements were frozen. They took a few breaths before speaking “I want…strength.” She muttered out with a heavy breath. Leto had never in truth been a strong person in many ways. She was never physically strong, never strong in health, never strong in even running far or long. It was never her fault. She was born as this and yet they mocked her. The jokes. The “pranks” pulled on her. One left her in a hospital for a while. She wanted to do what had been done onto her all these years. The grin on Visha face had widen to an unsettling amount. This was the shot. Reaching her hand out Visha spoke. “Well then dear might I outa say I got a deal for you. All the strength you could ever imagine. Stronger than a bull beastly…hell stronger than the strongest beastly themselves.” [Continued In Notes & Credits]
[Read Top Part First] She paused for a moment before speaking once more “and all in return is a small request.” Visha spoke with a friendly tone. The grin on her face had widen to appear more friendly yet it felt uncomfortable. Overly friendly but Leto didn’t care. Who cared when you could get what you never had. They practically yank the hand shaking eagerly not thinking much. “You got a deal Miss Visha” Leto chirped with a small chuckle. Her eyes lightened up with excitement. “Eager much?” A small snicker came with those words. She had what was needed now. “So what the needed request huh? Set you up with something?Need cash” The teen joked now feeling excited and tad relaxed. They rested their arm on there side of their hip, waiting for the request the orange hair woman would have for them. “None of that no no no…Just a simple thing now with the soon coming strength.” Visha paused giving a tad suspense. “I want you to slay one who blood runs with the god beastlys.” After those words her grin lessen as her eyes had a look of eagerness. As for Leto the red hair went cold. How could she even ever do that. “A-and if I don’t..?” Their words now lacking the former confidence they formally had. “You’re learn when the time comes.”
