The Crown would of heavily limited fishing and shipping, preventing further spread of the virus in the first few months. Gas Mask equipped troops would enforce curfews, with the dead being burned to kill of the virus. Once the cure reaches the state, we'd lift most of these limits, keeping the curfews enforced by our armies. Deaths would number in the thousands as this would result in the need to properly sanitize our cities furtherly to prevent such viruses from doing such damage on the population.
