*pokémon-ifies your glee characters*

i um i drew the glee characters if they were pokémon i’m cringe and free :) i actually did this before with characters from carrie lol but what i didn’t do before is make some shiny and give them all pokémon natures that go with their character :) reasons why i made each character that pokémon: finn - big, strong, athletic, loyal, naive- i thought a big dog pokémon like arcanine would be perfect rachel - pretty, goes with finn (both gen 1 canine fire types, ninetales has a higher chance of being female and arcanine has a higher chance of being male) kurt - i wanted to pick a bird pokémon (he’s a former member of the warblers, dalton academy’s glee club. and warblers are also birds lol) and then i remembered pavarotti (kurt’s canary) so i picked a pokémon inspired by that! altaria’s dex entry says “it sings in a beautiful soprano” and so does kurt! i made him shiny bc shiny altaria is yellow like a canary blaine - bird pokémon for the same reason as kurt! swellow’s color scheme matches almost perfectly with the warbler’s uniforms and also swellow just looks like blaine lmao mercedes - kurt called her a “technicolor zebra” once so i went with zebstrika! i made her shiny bc shiny zebstrika is more colorful and i just prefer it over normal zebstrika artie - picked spring sawsbuck for literally no reason :) tina - it was between absol and noivern- i ended up picking absol bc it just fit her goth vibe more i think quinn - she has a reputation for lying/manipulating and liepard literally has “lie” in it’s name! i made her shiny bc the color scheme somewhat resembles quinn’s hair color in her punk phase puck - he has a mohawk so that narrowed my options down to scrafty and obstagoon! i went with obstagoon bc he’s more associated with music sam - just a nice guy with blonde hair, boltund happened to come to mind first! santana - femme fatale, not afraid to be mean…salazzle was just perfect brittany - she has a cat so i wanted to pick a cat pokémon! went with delcatty bc it seemed like the least “mysterious/cunning” cat pokémon. i made her shiny bc it fits brittany’s vibe more than regular delcatty mike - wasn’t sure, his main thing is dancing but all the pokémon known for dancing didn’t really fit mike’s vibe- scizor came to mind bc i know it can learn swords dance will - wanted to pick a paldean pokémon bc will’s a spanish teacher (the paldea region is inspired by spain) and ended up going with pawmot bc it fit his vibe the best! pawmot also has this funny little hair tuft and sue bullies will bc of his hair emma - she has ocd and cinccino’s dex entry says smth like “it’s fur secretes an oil that repels dust…it won’t tolerate even a speck of it” and i thought this pokémon was perfect for a character obsessed with cleaning! here’s a star if you read all that lmao :) ☆ my next project is making the glee characters pokémon TRAINERS- like what pokémon that would have instead of what pokémon they would actually be
