"Eve" - A poem by Lilith Something Lilith wrote in her notepad while in a car ride home with her, not entirely sure of why she did so in the first place. If you were to ask Lilith about it, she'd likely tell you that she just "wrote down some observations, with a spin on it." but who knows, maybe it's more than that, maybe it's not. She'll never tell, not that she herself even knows in the first place. The picture on the cover was something that Lilith took while her and Eve were on the way back to the car after getting some drinks from the Liquor, with Eve crossing her arms in disapproval at the sight of being photographed... She never liked taking pictures.
She walked into the room, like people tend to do When they show up. She’s only twenty two, And sick of people telling her to Grow up. And just to force their way away she could easily find a game, If she only wanted too. She's such a pretty girl. From her long black hair Down to her Long dark boots. She tried hard to get that feeling That comes easy to you and I. Still, she thought that it might be funny To do one selfless deed before she dies... Her name Eve. She doesn’t know how to be... Like every other girl she meets. Alone in her own little world. And Eve... Likes to stand on the Balcony. And if you look, You could see into her mind. And if she never knew anybody. How could she have known she was Lonely? She’d known someone who had And if that’s the case What’s the point in knowing? She stood there in the open, Where everyone could see To proud to ask for anyone to help. And she had this revelation On the sheer amount of work that it would take To be like everybody else. She wouldn’t want it anyways. She’s no damsel in distress. She’d just sipped her daiquiri If she wasn’t easily convinced. Who was she fooling anyways? She should have guessed. She should have known. It doesn’t matter what they say! Some people just like to be alone…
