Territory --------------- The Waterfall dynasty camp is located in a cave, from which falls a waterfall. In the beach that the dynasty calls their home, crabs and other sea creatures including fish can be found. Seabirds are also commonly seen around here. -------------- Roles ------------ High ranks: Guardian The guardian is the leader and protector of the dynasty. They must do everything in their power to protect the dynasty, even with their life. Although they lead the dynasty, they still have to follow the rules and traditions. The guardian uses the suffix crown. Heir The Heir is one of the Guardian's biological kits who is picked when they reach the age of 12 moons. When they are ready, they may challenge the Guardian for the role of the leader. The Heir will use the suffix shine, but if they become a Guardian, they will use the suffix crown. Pathfinder Pathfinders are the only cats in the dynasty who are allowed to leave the territory. They look for more territory to take for the dynasty, and they send messages from the Guardian to the other dynasties. They take the suffix path. Healer Healers are responsible for healing other cats. If they do not heal other cats well, they will become exiled. They can have any suffix. Sharks Sharks are the most respected cats in the dynasty, for their skill in fighting and hunting. Catfishes may become Sharks if they are skilled enough. Sharks usually have the top priority for prey as well. Other roles: Catfish Catfishes are the hunters and fighters for this dynasty. If they are skilled enough, they may become a Shark. Their suffixes are usually beach/ocean themed, like sand, pearl, wave, stone, sea, etc. Minnow Minnows are cats younger than 12 moons, and until they reach that age they must stay in camp. Once they become 12 moons, the Guardian will perform a ceremony to make them a Catfish. From then on, they will train with experience, as there is no mentoring system. ------- Traditions --------- When a Minnow reahces the age of 12 moons, the Guardian and the Minnow will walk towards a lake in the territory. The Minnow will then have to swim to the other side of the lake. This is to see if the Minnow will be able to serve the Dynasty as a Catfish, Healer, or Pathfinder. If the Minnow survives, the Guardian will take them to a cave. They will be left there for a few days to ponder their future. In that time they will decide if they want to be a Catfish, Healer, or Pathfinder. When they return, they will be given a new rank and name. The Waterfall Dynasty also worships the sun, for they believe that it gives them their power and strength, the code is sun. When the Heir challenges the Guardian, the whole dynasty will gather around the center of camp, where the Heir and Guardian will be fighting. If the Heir loses, a new Heir must be selected immediately. If the Guardian loses, the Heir will take the role. ------- Rules -------- * The Heir may not be allowed to escape the challenge. ( Punishment: Heir dies. ) * Healers may not have kits. ( Punishment: Healer dies ) * Only the Pathfinder may leave the Waterfall Dynasty's territory. No one else. ( Punishment: exile. ) * Relationships outside the dynasty are forbidden. ( Punishment: chores, low priority for prey, or exile depending on severity ) * The Guardian's partner is not supposed to be known.
