===The Littering Experience====================== ======================with Fish!=========v0.4== ~~~~~~~~~~~Seed Project for Earth Day~~~~~~~~~~~~ A simple, short game for Earth Day about a fish taking rubbish out of the ocean. I've only finished about half of the game, though, so stay tuned for any updates to make this game complete! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ==How to Play - WASD keys to move the clownfish (You!) - Rubbish will come from the surface of the ocean. Hold the spacebar or the E key to grab rubbish, and then move to the top of the screen. Release the spacebar/E to bring it out of the ocean! (You can also leave the rubbish on the ocean floor... I might make something happen if too much is left on the ground.) - By removing the rubbish, you'll get Fish Points! You can see how many points you have at the top center of the screen. - Sometimes, sea creatures with rubbish tangled in them will swim by. To remove the rubbish on them, go to them (make sure you're touching), then hit the spacebar/E key three times! They'll say thank you, then grant you 1 fish power and 2 fish points. - Fish power helps to make you get more fish points from removing rubbish! You can see how much fish power you have right next to the fish points. It makes you get more points from taking rubbish out of the ocean and multiplies the points you get from removing rubbish from sea creatures. So keep helping those fish and crabs! - There is also a day-night cycle, which repeats every 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Throughout the day, the bonus meter (below the time) goes up and down, and a higher bonus means a faster time between rubbish and sea creatures. - The lunch rush event has a bonus of being 5.5x faster! You should really grab the rubbish you find and take them out of the ocean or remove them from sea creatures, because at the end of the lunch rush you'll even get extra points based on how well you did during the event. And it's not just a few extra points, it usually goes up to the hundreds on a good run, and it also gets affected by fish power too, meaning that if you have enough power, you can collect extra points in the thousands or maybe ten thousands! (And counting...) - The (Current!) goal of the game is to get a really high score and beat the global highest Fish Points! But there will be a few new goals in the next updates... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ==Notes & Credits - Most art was from the Scratch Library, but I did make a few costumes... - All sounds were from the Scratch Library, and most were slightly modified by me. - All code by me! :3 - Please do not advertise! It clutters up the comments. (I'll report any adverts, so don't do it!) - Also, follow the Community Guidelines and stay kind and respectful! Breaking the guidelines will result in a reporting of your comments/projects that are involved. - Enjoy Earth Day! =Crash notice! Your game may crash suddenly after doing an action. If this happens, tell me what you were doing to make the crash happen, and I'll fix it! (This notice will be removed after people have stopped reporting crashes in this project.) =Little bug notice! For some reason, rubbish may float in mid-air and do nothing until you grab them. I unfortunately don't know how and why this is caused and as so I don't know how to fix it. If you know the cause or how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks! =What will v0.5 bring? ~ More variety - more types of rubbish and sea creatures ~ Popularity and helping level - do well to become famous in Fintown! ~ A bad outcome - if there's too much rubbish, it won't be nice... ~ More events - cool things to... I don't know yet but it will be awesome! ~ Upgrading chances - every once in a while, find special items to boost yourself in rubbish removing! (get faster, double points, etc.) (This is still not the full game, but this is the update right before the full update...) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ===Thanks for Reading/Playing=== Happy Earth Day, and I'll see you soon!
