I'm leaving scratch for a few reasons. Reason #1: Scratch has been alright for a few months, but the more time you spend on Scratch, the more you realize it’s like social media. You get spammers who just want more followers, people spamming the “follow” button in hope to get followers back. Some of them are bots, some are just ghosts follow you and forget your profile the second you follow them. I want to have a friendly environment on Scratch, but so far that doesn’t seem to be true. I know leaving Scratch for about a year might be the wrong decision, but in my heart it’s the right thing to do. I came to Scratch to get feedback on my art. I rarely get any at home, it’s because my family dislikes cats because of my moms allergies. Not everyone is like this but, just wanted you to know how I see what Scratch has become. "I think it's better to have less friends than to have fake friends." — Hina Khan Reason #2: AI may be ruining our community, people are becoming dumber, some use it to deceive and scam others. I hate it. I hate it when some people just use a picture(s) from Google as their Multi-Animator-Project part. It's disappointing that some people actually do it, they just say art from Google. Like, there are 1,0000000000000000000000000000 users on Google. Who wants someone to turn in their MAP part; MAP hosts usually don't take people out of their MAP, but no one I mean NO ONE wants that in their MAP. I wish people don't use AI in MAP parts. I don't disrespect AI, but some people go too far. Some people are just greedy and want your money, they claim to have things they don't. And that's not going to help anyone. I believe AI could be good, it's here to help and assist you, but abusing that kind of help is straight-up disrespectful. Not only to God, but to your environment, neighbors, and people who come across your AI-slop.I don't mind AI at all, but if it's constantly interfering with human lives in evil, selfish ways (due to human deeds). I might give up on the thought of hope in "AI". I seek to find light in AI, I wish to find a way to stop peoples cruel deeds. I don't believe AI is bad, but it's cruel to abuse help; some people want AI banned which I don't fully agree with, but it would create some more health for the mental mind. I truely believe that people aren't bad, but bad deeds will make others think of you as a bad person. And no one wants to be called a bad person. I think that being human is something we should be proud of, and just because you don't have as much "talent" as others doesn't mean you should lie about art like you drew it. Reason: I need peace of mind! Scratch hasn’t done anything to me but grown my envy, the more envy you have the harder it is to improve. You can’t focus if you always think that others are better than you or you’re constantly jealous of others. Nobody really cares about your art unless you’ve got around 1,000 followers because of your art. The search bar is broken, hashtags don’t seem to work for me, and your profile isn’t found anywhere if you don’t have more than 2K followers. Scratch has become more of a Democracy game than a place to learn and grow. I find it unfair, especially for the people who just want to be better. To those people, watching people and saying “Wow, your art is so good!” won’t help you improve your art skills. No one is born with peak art. "Comparison is the thief of joy." — Theodore Roosevelt
