This has been in production since around February I wanna say, and I am so happy to say that is is FINALLY a done ohh my god this cat is done at last. Around the time I first got Glacier (character pictured here + in my pfp), I had the idea to make 8 entire accessorized versions of him based off of the 7 set it off albums (+ the two collabs they did with scene queen), seeing that he was actually originally based off the self-titled album. The production of this started off with brainstorming and looking through lyrics to figure out what I could reference for each version, then it went to concepting those ideas on a base, and THEN I did another round of concepting just to get everything more solidly down and figure out the pose I want for the actual reference, since the first on-base concepting was made on a base I didn’t create so I wanted to make sure all the accessories would look right and I wouldn’t have to make any last-minute alterations. And after all of that was done, I was able to move onto the actual ref itself, which is what you’re seeing here! All in all, I am EXTREMELY happy with how this turned out. If I absolutely had to pick some favorites here just off of appearance alone, I think I’d probably have to say Horrible Kids, Duality, and Midnight (all of which I had the most clear vision of from the start!), but Upside Down is also one I RLLYY like. I feel that the color choices on some of these (namely Cinematics and Self-Titled) could’ve been a bit better, but again, I still like them all a lot!! I could ramble on about what each accessory means and the sort, and in fact I was going to via a diagram, but I am TIREDD and this has already become my most time-intensive piece yet to point that you couldn’t waterboard the total canvas time(s) out of me, so I’ll just leave it here alongside the numbered images as per usual (IGNOREE THE QUALITY BTW It’s bad I know I’ll try to fix it later) 1. My artfight had this boxed-in chibi of Cricketcry with some song lyrics but since it’s almost entirely Glacier-themed now, I thought it was time to make one of him too 12.
