[Chapter 1 → "Governor."] "Can you PLEASE stop zoning out, Sen? You're gonna bump into a cloud- or worse, Vega." Nebula said with teasing fear as she said Vega's name. Selenophobia blinked a few times, placing his hand on his head, looking down at the soft cloud, sighing. "Sorry! Sorry.." He said, before letting out a small nervous sigh. "I haven't been feeling well lately.." He muttered under his breath, continuing to walk. Nebula stopped walking, and Selenophobia had to stop quicker to not bump into her. Nebula glanced at Selenophobia, her brow furrowing in worry. "Not feeling well in what way, exactly?" She asked. Selenophobia swallowed. He was scared of this question. "Are you okay?" Nebula asked quickly, clearly noticing Sen's fear. "I'm fine!" Selenophobia said quickly, raising his hands up as if someone was aiming at him. "You know you can tell me anything, right? I'm always so worried about you, because the last time you had an episode you almost-" "NEBULA!" Selenophobia yelled, putting his hands on Nebula's shoulders. She instantly stopped rambling and looked at him nervously. "Sorry, I should trust you when you say you're fine." She muttered. Selenophobia shook his head. "It's alright, really. We're friends. You're supposed to worry. But I didn't mean I wasn't feeling well in a *bad* way!" He smiled. Even though it was a lie. Everyday he felt horrible in a bad way. And everyday it was just going to get worse. Selenophobia just stared at Nebula with a smile, before pausing and clearing his throat, avoiding eye contact. "It's probably just because of the reoccurring dream I keep getting, it's making me stressed out, y'know?" He said quietly. Nebula pulled Selenophobia into a hug. "Yeah.." Selenophobia tensed up, slowly putting a hand on Nebula's hand and pushing her off. "Oh. Right. Sorry." She said, backing up. "Should we...continue?" She mentioned forward. Selenophobia nodded quickly. "Y-yeah. Let's go." So they continued walking their way to the Void. The stars flickered as quickly as a blink. The air ticked quietly, like a countdown. A countdown to an idea? A countdown to something bad? Selenophobia didn't know. He didn't want to. Nebula walked in front of Selenophobia, leading the way. She worried about her friend, but she decided not to push. The last time she pushed Selenophobia to talk about his feelings he had a panic attack. It's weird, but Nebula noticed that he's becoming more distant around *her*. And they're best friends. But she decided not to focus her mind on that right now. If someone focuses their mind on only one thing around here, they start thinking more abstract thoughts, more abstract ideas until they simply.. snap. Become dull. Ignore everyone. Distance themselves. Turn into one of the stars. Slowly rot. "Nebula?" Selenophobia's voice caught Nebula off guard. She turned her head towards him and tilted her head slightly. "What is it?" She asked. "N-nothing." Selenophobia quickly looked away, stammering in his words. Nebula's gaze softened more than it was and she slowed down to walk beside him. "Seriously Sen, what is it?" She asked, putting her hand on his arm, her grip soft. "You were just being quiet.." Selenophobia muttered. "I'm not gonna be stuck in my thoughts, Sen. I'm not you. I was just enjoying the atmosphere." Nebula smiled, giving a tiny, soft chuckle. "Enjoying the atmosphere..." Selenophobia repeated quietly, looking away. "Okay. That makes sense." Selenophobia realized that Nebula was still walking beside him. It made him feel weird, for some reason. He turned his head slightly to look at her more, looking at her design. He never really paid attention before. Red, blue, and yellow were the main colors. Suddenly, something hit him, looking at the colors. Somebody that he couldn't remember came to his mind. 'What the hell?' He tried to focus, looking away. But all that was in his mind was static. It was slowly becoming agonizing, trying to focus on it like this. But he had to remember. He just had to. Suddenly, a spark felt like it sh0t through him, making him freeze in place. Nebula instantly stopped, looking at Selenophobia. "Sen?" She asked, worry etching in her tone, reaching out an arm. 01010011 01001001 01001110 01001110 01000101 01010010 "Nebula...?" Selenophobia muttered after a while, glancing nervously at Nebula, his breathing shaking. Nebula's gaze went more worried, grabbing Selenophobia's arms. "Hey! Hey! It's alright! Just breathe! You're okay! You're going to be okay! What's wrong?" Sen trembled, looking away, forcing himself to get his breathing back under control, backing up. "Nothing...I'm fine..." He said, hugging himself, still trembling. 'Pοmni.' He choked on air for a moment, his eyes widening. That was just somebody in that dream. He glanced at Nebula. Then thought back.. the colors. The memory vanished as quickly as it came, his mind becoming fuzzy. He shrugged it off. "...I don't...should we get back to finding Orion?"
[[CONTINUED]] Selenophobia asked, trying to get his mind off of it. Even though it was obvious that he didn't want to think about it, he wanted to remember. Nebula hesitated, clearly still worried, but nodded. "Sure." She said after a minute, turning and leading the way. Selenophobia followed after, quickly. ______________________________ ☆ AU & ART: @-JAXT0Y- ☆ ☆ AUDIO : Tea Errors - Jack Stauber ☆ → Previous : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1307094998/ → Next : WIP → First : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1307094998/
