Litter making __________________________________________________ 1. General Rules: → Once a litter is *fully* claimed link them in the Lostclan storage → Theres a waiting list, litters will be reviewed if its all good it will be added to the waiting list your litter will take as soon as a day to a month to get into the waiting list, if its longer contact staff or me. → A Thumbnail is necessary → Number of kits ( 2-7 ) → Kit names (more on that later) → Kit appearances: Must be realistic, no unrealistic colors, patterns, etc. → Disabilities or notable traits, must be researched with at least one paragraph of research → All litters must include clan name in the thumbnail as well as the title of the litter → Must be mobile friendly → Include genders of all kits assigned at birth → Make sure theres not another kit with the same name as any kits from the litter, check storage and other litters. If there is please change it, two kits with the same name is unrealistic and confusing. → Visuals of kits: Visuals cannot be: AI generated, someone else's art, photos or headshots (must be full body), bases the artist dos not allow use. Visuals can be: Bases are are approved by the artist for use, makers (e.g clangen cat maker) as long as its approved by artist for use, your own art. → Include a introduction to the litter, about each kit (e.g Name | AGAB | age in according to others | Disabilities if they appear | ), and a link back to the litter project/studio → Donated litters do not require genetics because the parents are unknown and there could be multiple dads, parented litters however require genetics: https://sparrows-garden.com/cat-coat-calculator.html → Do not add parents for donated litters they are unknown. _______________________________________________ 2. Lostclan Litters → Daylight warrior litters • What are Daylight Warriors: Daylight warriors are cats who sleep and eat two leg food during the night but preform warrior duties (patrols, hunting etc) for the clan in the day. [Please include a explanation of Daylight warriors in Daylight Warrior litters] • How its different: Daylight warriors live with twolegs by night of course, they are not at camp at night, they are still trusted members of the clan but they live with twolegs, interact with Kittypets regularly etc. • How to include this in your litter: Backstory's are very different for Daylight warriors, perhaps they started as kittypets and then were adopted by the clan but kept their kittypet ways or their parents were Daylight warriors (donated litters their parents were taken away by twolegs, died etc). • Naming: They will still have normal warrior names, but perhaps Kittypets at home call them by a different name. _________________________________________________ 3. General naming rules: Names must be realistic, reasonable, in english and something wild cats would know of, for example no Iphonekit, Horsiekit, Gatokit etc. • Lostclan naming traditions- Lostclan names their cats in a sort of lost, ancient theme. The rules aren't very strict but for example Flowerkit wouldn't follow the naming rules very well.
