After a long day with his friends, Cain had done something to upset them. Now it's not like this hasn't happened before, normally things just end a sour note for the night, and everything's alright again in the morning. But this time, it was a little different though. After all was said and done, Lilith, being the caring one she always was, suggested that Cain take the time to write his feelings down. Of course, he thought this was absurd at first. "I mean, what's writing something on a piece of paper gonna accomplish anyway?" He thought to himself. Eventually, however, he desired to just give it a whorl. It gave him a chance to come up with another dance anyway (which he had been planning on, since he's very fond of dancing). The photo was a picture that Cain took off the stairs near Echo Park, where he did his public dances whenever he felt like presenting them to anyone who would stop by. At the end, after he wrote all of this down, he wasn't exactly sure what it was that he wrote, or what it even meant. It's not like he couldn't figure it out, given enough time, more so, he was too scared to. So scared, in fact, that he keeps the paper near his fireplace, in a locked box.
"Gather around everybody, have you heard the latest craze? Put your hands in your pockets, and look the other way! Remember all those times when we were laughing on the couch? Pretend it never happened, and politely smile as you turn around… A joke misses, a clumsy conspiratorial glance… But I don’t *really* mind, I’ve always liked the way I dance! It’s so easy to do, so much simpler than the one I did before! Just point at your eye, and someone you know… And pretend that you don’t. Now slide to the left, and slide to the right… Now remind me again how I’m a really great guy. Now dip to the right, and shimmy to the left… It’s three a clock in the morning, don’t answer my text! Now take a step back. Now take a couple more. Now give one more sorry look before you walk through the door. Feel terrible after spending the night with them. Hang around a while or never talk to me again… That’s how you do the “Act like you never met me!” Now do the “Act like you never met me!” Do the “Act like you never met me!” And slowly walk away…" ... "Judas and Lilith are starting to rub off on me." He wrote on the back of the paper.
