It sucks. 60% of the movie feels like nothing is happening... and i only watched it for Bowser tbh. the connection between Peach and Rosa is TERRIBLE.its so quick and has zero emotion. they were just like "Besides this is her sister so you HAVE to care!" i couldnt care less for rosa. cool designe but... i just dont feel anything when i see her get hurt. and Yoshi.. oh gosh Yoshi.. their terrible, i hate em, they do NOTHING and at best a side character. Joshi feel so hollow and empty. u take away Yoshi aand nothing would change- Bowser... MY DARLING WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU- HE WAS DOING SUCH PROGRESS AND THEY THREW IT TO THE TREASH- oh btw Boswer jr is mid. he runs the plot but nothing else really, i like the bedtime story scene tho. SKELETON BOWSER IS FIRE!! they want the movie to feel "romantic" but its just feels random. more story of Peach with Mario and less apart. oh and when Rosa gives the stars tool i out loud said "yay child labor!" in short the hype was for nothing.. and this feel like a episode of a series NOT a whole movie.
New plot: it would have been better if they followed Mario hating Bowser as a issue. because he only met Bowser (mostly) in the kingdom he could de cautious around others. by cautious I mean wanna pick fights, and the story could have been about how he grows and chooses his fights better BUT they decided to do damsel in destres instead...
