Some of the meanings resonate deeply with my own feelings, and I'm glad I was given this opportunity to do so. This was my first time EVER writing a full song, though I have been composing melodies (and soon forgetting them) since I was four. The experience was thrilling and really lifted some weight off of me. And this is a thank you to Adelle, because if not for your suggestion to do an OG song collab, I would have NEVER found the determination to give this a try.
