ALPHA TRION'S DATATRAX "CYBERTRONIAN MANIFEST" ENTRY #0024: NAME: Hot Rod IDENTITY: Male FUNCTION: Autobot Long-Distance Scout HOME PLANET: Unknown CURRENT RESIDENCE: Earth One day, a mysterious transport pod crashed onto the surface of Earth, and out stepped a mysterious red bot painted in flames. He claimed his name was Hot Rod, and was from the future, but had no other memories of who he was. Just a purpose: to "light the Autobot's darkest hour". Optimus chose to enlist him as a long-distance scout, not trusting him fully, but he quickly proved himself to be too hot-headed for the role. He was too eager to prove himself to the other 'Bots, so much so that he'd put himself in danger just to garner the Autobots' respect. However, after a tragedy befalls the Autobots' leader, the Matrix finds itself in Hot Rod's hands. He's granted the importance he'd always wanted, but now that everyone's eyes are on him, can he live up to the expectations?
