Fill your picnic baskets and head out to the park with your sketchbooks, 'cause we're going to be making a lot of flowering art this month. Welcome to the May 2026 session of SAC!! ❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ Please read through this description real quick if you are taking part in SAC in any way this session <3 While we wait for May to come around, you can hang out with other SACers in the main cabin below! main cabin --> https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51552273 Please don't advertise cabins here. ❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ SAC (Scratch art camp) is a biannual fully online camp where campers and (co)leaders set themselves an art goal for the session. Through fun bidaily and biweekly drawing prompts, everyone slowly completes those goals whilst earning points for their cabins! There are two different cabins this session, and you'll be sorted into one of them if you decide to join. Camp runs from May 1st through May 31st, and despite the fact that this is all online, we reccomend you update word counts and participate in activities as much as you can! A point system is used throughout the session, and friendly competition is encouraged! NEVER downgrade anybody's art, though, as that would have you permanently banned from SAC. Note that any sort of drawing counts! Doodle pages/in school doodles count as one piece per page drawn on. ❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ Camper signups close at 12:00 AM UTC on April 25th. If you sign up after that, you will be a backup camper and replace anybody who drops out. Cabin preferences will be hard to apply if you're a backup camper. Campers will be notified of their cabins a few days after closing, while backup campers will be notified in early May if anybody drops out. The art goal limit will be 150 (try to have it less, though) this session, as we don't want anybody to experience burnout or severe art block. For beginners, I'd reccomend an art goal of around 40. If you hit 150 art pieces, you will not be able to add any more pieces for the rest of camp. ALWAYS prioritize yourself, school, and real life responsibilities over SAC. This is just a silly little virtual camp, after all. No AI art, tracing, etc of ANY KIND will be considered for dailies, weeklies, or art goal additions. ❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ To participate as a camper, fill out this form in the comments below: 1 // What will occupy you in May? (school, work, preformances, etc) 2 // Which cabin would you prefer? If you'd be okay with either, put N/A. 3 // What's your art goal for May? 4 // On a scale of 1 to 10, what would you rate your activity this May? 5 // Would you be ok with some your comments being screenshotted for the SAC Memory Book? Answer either no, always, or ask first. 6 // Have you ever participated in SAC, SWC or any other Scratch camp? Please give an exact number for your art goal, no ranges. No guarantee you'll get in your preferred cabin!! ❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ Credits: ~ Thumbnail || ~ Previous SAC hosts || ~ Description || with intense inspiration from Robin's SWC March Camper signups description ~ Everything else ||
