The closer you live to the District Center, the better life is- cleaner, nicer buildings, better security, less to no entities. If you're living on the district's edge, it's incredibly dangerous. Entities are usually found climbing over the walls- they're meant to keep people in instead of keeping things out, after all. Shops are rather common- every district has multiple alleys filled with food, clothing, etc. from businesses, but the best place to purchase things would be the District Center. There, people can sell things without needing an established store. You cannot find art in any of these places- yet there are areas where you can get it. Fictional books, hear music for likely the first time in your life, learn to draw.. all those places are spread via rumor. Phones do exist, however social media doesn't. Phones are only for communication within your district, and are rare to own.
