Click/tap for next slide Tips for drawing wings easily Look, this doesn’t rllt come from a place of “yes I studied wing anatomy and this is the correct way!”, this comes from a place of “Wings are hard but like there’s something I noticed when looking at wings and it looks good when drawing so here u go”, also tips I’ve remembered from things I’ve seen over time What if says: basically meaning Slide 0 - thumbnail thingy slid 1: “So, have wings got you in a worry? Well I’ve got some me tips for u! It is really easy, like, ridiculously easy, and if you keep these few tips in mind it will save you tears, well maybe not, guys they might invoke tears of joy as you!ve finally mastered the wonderful world of wings” Slide 2: if you think about wings with an backwards N or a Z type shape it will help make the inns look natural and not awkward, especially if you connect the start of the wing with the shoulder blade! Slide 3: Also u can think of wings like arms with weird hands, which, I mean wings did evolve from a similar place to arms (I think) Slide 4: There are proper names and things for the feathers but this looks good and is simple so (the diagram) should also help Green is short (at base of the wing), Blue is medium (middle of the wing), Long is pink (end of wing) Slide 5: END NOTE BC I ALMOST FORGOT!: Try to draw the base of the wing connecting to the body at the shoulder or shoulder blade, although it doesn't matter where it connects if it is on somewhere like the head or legs (duh)
