Shift is a female human (pronouns she/her) who was forced to become augmented due to an explosion that took off her jawbone and left arm. She is trained in combat, and defected from the Chromian Hegemony after convincing the E.T.A to help her escape in exchange for inside information . Even though she technically is a cyborg, she does not share the same ideology as them, and tries to stop their attempts to forcefully augment others. She also hates her augmentations, even though without them she would be crippled. Nanomachines flow through her blood and repair all her nonorganic modifications, and also harden on impact, making her skin tougher than normal (she still can get hurt though, its just a little harder to puncture her skin) Shift was born and raised in the Unobservable Universe, but she was later kidnapped by the Chromian Hegemony (who were "visiting for the purpose of scientific study" ) and basically was forced to become brainwashed. After escaping and noclipping into the Observable Universe she joined Draga's Rebellion because she wants cyborgs and augmented humans to break free from the indoctrination of the Chromian Hegemony. Due to her extensive knowledge of the Unobservable Universe, she frequently noclips between the two realities to convince more people sided against the Chromians to join Draga's Rebellion, or another faction that is sided against them.
