The following essay is against the AI being used for the monitoring of projects and chat.
The AI chat filter in scratch is not good. For example, I got my chat banned for 5 minutes for saying h3ck. Also, I got my chat banned for saying that someone’s art was amazing (what the h3ck?). This shows that the AI chat filter is inefficient and ineffective. People report projects for no reason, and it actually flags the people who made the project. For example, Emopriness got banned for a h4zb1n h0t3l project because it was a drawing of a character. Also, people post inappropriate things that aren’t h4zb1n h0t3l all the time, and they don’t get banned. This shows that using AI for banning projects is ineffective, incorrect, and inaccurate. I hope you take these words to heart, i don’t mean to indicate that I don’t respect people who think it’s good, I just don’t agree.
