Thanks to @Bloom-64 for the meme "I got them Etah!" I muffle them TUM74000. (Aka the thing the filtered it is the TU sounchip (I'm not saying the name of my fantasy console, it what the first 2 letter abreviate to in the new name of)) I rushed this. The sound chip has a built-in 7th order IIR for filtering. (Plans are to switch to 3rd order because of quantisation errors) here are the coefficients. b = 0.125,0.125,0.125,0.125,0.125,0.125,0.125,0.125, a = 1.0, 0.2,0.2,0.2,0.2,0.2.
