Entry for Hollow Knight OC Contest. Please ask for permission and give credit before using. ABILITIES: Cyclone Slash, Mothwing Cloak, Counter Strike, Great Slash Cannot manipulate SOUL (Doesn't know how) Slightly taller than Broken Vessel. Bull was one of the first Vessels to be birthed by the White Lady and Pale King. When Bull was infused with Void, something went wrong with the process, allowing them to have a mind to think and will to break. Because of this, they were chucked into the Abyss, cracking their shell and mangling their right arm from trying to break their fall. Bull escaped the Abyss and was taken in by Mato after wandering back into Hallownest. Bull went on to become one of Mato's greatest students from that time, and wore a handkerchief over their neck to remind themself of Mato. Bull then went on to explore Hallownest and grow stronger throughout its journeys. But, slowly, a foreign plague started to bite at their mind. One by one, Bull watched the civilians of Hallownest fall to the Infection. Even their own siblings were not safe from this. Bull stayed strong however, and tried finding a way to cure the Infection. Bull was stopped by Hornet, and after winning by a hare's breath, drove her to retreat. Bull kept pursuing their goal to defeat the Infection, no matter what toll it would take on them. Eventually, in order to truly understand his past, he went down into the Ancient Basin, where he finds a rusted discarded Coiled Nail in the deep reaches of the Basin near the Abyss. Bull bows at whoever once wielded this great blade, and uses it with great skill and power, having it refined to it's full glory and shaped to their liking. "You have incredible willpower in that small body. Now, we just have to channel it into something deeper...." Quote by Mato when training Bull. Eventually though, we reach present. Bull has been sleeping in the Basin for atleast a century now, and has almost taken to the Infection when Ghost arrived. Bull proves to still have control over their body though, as when Bull wakes, the orange fog in their eyes vanishes, and they rise, bowing at their sibling. With Bull's help, Ghost obtains the other half of the Kingsoul from killing PK, and goes into the Abyss to obtain the Voidheart. Bull nods, and awaits their siblings return. Bull and Ghost combined are enough to beat the Hollow Knight, but Bull gets fatally injured in the process, right before Hornet arrives and Ghost kills the Radiance. Bull awakes, covered in debris and unable to move. They claw themself out and use their nail as a cane, seeing Hornet vanish into the shadows with Ghost's broken mask. Having accomplished their goal, they leave Hallownest once more, and return to the Howling Cliffs to rest. But, their goals once again have them cross paths with Hallownest, as Bull is pulled into the Grimm Troupe's Ritual to collect the scarlet flames and feed the next Troupe Master.
