There was a Fanwing Fest (a Wings of Fire fan event that Tui T. Sutherland does every so often) yesterday, where Tui revealed who the POV character for the next book is going to be. AND IT’S KINKAJOU!!! The moment the fanbase has been clamoring for is finally happened. I’m very excited. Kinkajou is a really fun character and I’m quite interested in seeing what a book from her point of view would be like. I guess this might also be confirmation that she was indeed taken by the mysterious figure that also took the queens and the egg in the epilogue of The Hybrid Prince. I noted in my project where I talked about the book that the way that scene was written made me unsure of whether or not Kinkajou had gone missing as well. But I guess she did. Which means now I am absolutely wanting to see Kinkajou get ticked off at the other RainWings for shrugging off her getting kidnapped *again*, like I said in that project. Tui, please give me Kinkajou having the most valid crash-out of all time. (though if it does happen, I doubt it’d be in this book, since we’re still early on in the story)
