It's been a few months since I announced that I would be going inactive on Scratch. This project is for anyone who wishes to still talk to me, and anyone who wants further insight on why I made this decision. Firstly, let's talk about how you can get through to me. I will no longer be checking my messages on this Scratch account, so you'll have to choose from some different options. 1: Comment on my profile at @BaldGuy_Studios. This is my new account where I am continuing to develop my projects, but not publishing them. Drop a comment on the profile and I'll receive a notification. If I see it, odds are I'll reply. 2: Message me on Gamejolt. If you don't know already, Gamejolt is now where I share my projects instead of Scratch. You can make an account and either comment on my profile, or send me a friend request to message me privately. Now I want to share why I made the decision to stop posting on Scratch. I feel like I didn't give a good enough explanation before, so here you go. When I very first started on this platform, I instantly met two people: @Luca_Damian and @zivchlo2006. All three of us would consistently post and talk with each other through scratch and things were great. However, for reasons I don't quite know, these posts and interactions died down. These could have been due to IRL issues, such as school etc, or more simply, just boredom. Now I want to make it very clear that I'm not upset at them for doing so, as I don't expect anyone to keep posting online just so I can feel happy or anything like that. I still think them and any other person I met are very cool and have made an impact on me. I still see Luca on Roblox sometimes, but haven't yet gotten the courage to join him and talk to him. However, we all seemed to have lost interest in Scratch as a whole, and I just couldn't bring myself to talk to new people, as it would make me feel like I was replacing my old friends. So I decided to quit with them. I'm now trying to build a new audience on Gamejolt. I've talked to a couple new people, and I hope to feel the same feeling I did during my experience on Scratch. Who knows? It could completely flop and I'll have to return to Scratch! But really, moving to Gamejolt felt like a good choice to me. Thank you for reading this whole essay. I appreciate you a lot for that. I hope you have a good day. Scratch on.
