[MY BAD GUYS I GOT THE INFO WRONG] While looking around through Scratch to see what has become of this site after I left, I came across many projects discussing how in the future (or maybe even currently), Scratch could be implementing AI into the site. It was brought to my attention that in the Terms of Service in the Scratch page, you now basically legally give them the right to feed any of your posts into their AI generator, or a 3rd party AI generator (from what I can tell, my facts may be wrong). I will not stand and watch as my 5 years of growth get shoved into a machine so someone can generate a piece of art in a minute where it took me years to get there. I will not stand to watch this site, or any other site for that matter, turn to the cheapness and laziness that AI has to offer. I will not stand to watch other artists' works get feed to the planet-killing machine so that some lazy bum doesn't have to get up and try to draw something themselves. I am incredibly disappointed that Scratch, a website about creation and learning, has decided to incorporate AI into a site meant for people to learn and grow from the community around them. It is also shameful that they deceive Scratchers in the Terms of Service by using tricky language to basically say "Everything you post on this site---from words, projects, code, and art---can be feed into an AI without your permission." And surprise! There's no avoiding it. The only way is to stop posting. Because I have a bitter hatred for AI that courses through my veins, I will unfortunately be taking down most---if not all---of my projects (including my storage account) to prevent them from potentially being used to train an AI. I apologize if this brings anyone any inconvenience, but my morals come first as I do not support AI in the slightest and I am inactive on this site (I will not be returning, especially after learning about this). Thank you all for reading, and I wish you all the greatest. <3 Thank you @CupieMaster for spreading the information Their project on this topic can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269751874/
