Some updates: I just got back from a band trip to a city 16 hours away (we had to take a bus) and I was unable to work on my MAP parts (since the bus had no internet and my Procreate brushes would not load for some reason) and there was no time. The trip even lasted another day because we got held back by a snowstorm. (Yeah, in mid-April) No one slept at all, so I was still too tired to work on anything when I got home. I will do my best to finish everything soon, but I may ask for an extension. Once I finish what I have already taken, I want to take a break from MAP parts for a bit.
Comic cover art by me in Procreate. Characters belong to me. (WHY IS IT ACTUALLY SO GOOD THOUGH?) :O Comic news: -I know I said I wanted to post it in March, but the way I’m drawing it now, it’s taking way too long on each panel and I just don’t like the drawings. I’ve also decided I want to format it more like an actual comic (but fitting for Scratch) since someday I want to be able to make a real published comic, and I want it to be transferable. I may change the art style a bit. -The location is now a real place; the story is set in Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland, Canada. I have been there before and the terrain is gorgeous and has all the landmarks I’m looking for, and it makes the story a little more consistent if I have an idea of the scale of the region. (Press space to see the map) It won’t change the story at all, though. -I also still need to plot the more long-term story, I still haven’t figured out some of it. -The plan is to have 3 volumes, each about 10 chapters long (The chapters will be long enough to convey some important plot point) So don’t expect 100 chapters before the characters receive warrior names… -I’ve also decided that the title didn’t sound great and it turns out there is already something with that name, so I’m changing the title to Midnight Waters. I think this sounds cooler and fits the comic better. Abbreviated this would be “MW”
