If the text on the Chrysler looks like it's coming off of the support beam, I have absolutely no idea why it is. It's centered in the actual costume, but for some reason Scratch will render the sizes differently depending on what device you watch this on! I guess this can go into the list of reasons why I'm not a fan of putting text in my art. Also, If you were wondering why there was nobody controlling the siren, the rosewood retrofitted a remote controller to it so rosewood can activate it remotely for tests. ● Name: Chrysler Air Raid Siren ● Chopper port: Unknown (No pictures exist of the internal chopper drum on a Chrysler.) ● Alert time: Around 30 seconds ● Pole height: 5 storys tall its a high school duh ● Other sirens heard: Some steam whistles, unsure of the model ● Decibel Output: 138 dB at 100 feet ● Location: Rose wood County high school, in a more open area. ● Cool facts: The Chrysler Air Raid Siren is actually technically the 2nd generation that was made of the Chrysler series, with the 1st being the Chrysler Victory Bell! There were a lot of design changes over the years of this siren. It also has a V8 Hemi watercooled engine, that can give a whopping 180 HP! The Chrysler factory where these were made was also in Detroit, MI!
this siren was made in Detroit MI in 1954 (UPDATE) the siren was restored in 2024 (UPDATE) rosewood had 3 of these sirens until 1999 1 was removed the other one is inactive so that makes this siren the only chrysler active in rosewood.
