I had an interesting conversation with @_f0rk about the old survey I hosted last year, and what ideas I ended up going with for Zombified. These are the ones I am certainly using! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What I'm NOT adding (and why!) ~The reason I'm not any specific attacks is because "Attack" is general. Attack is the button that has the function of dealing plain damage to your opponent, with a chance to miss or crit hit (Your chance of missing or crit-hitting depends on your level!) Moves like "Kick" or "Bite" are not necessary because they both deal damage in the same way with the battle system used in Zombified. ~Anything overly excessive. ~Sidequests are awesome and we love them (And we didn't get nearly enough in the original) but too many can get overwhelming to program, and confusing the the player. Maybe one or two per chapter. ~Dying of starvation. You can get ill from starving in the game, but you cannot die. The pack worries about you and wouldn't let you just starve to death... it's not realistic. However, if the player forgets to take care of themselves or food is short, malnutrition can happen, making the player vulnerable, weak and slow. ~I'm not adding any more cameos, and I'm removing multiple past chapter 1. This is due to copyright issues that a full, paid game may cause. Aster, Coral, and Doodle are the only cameos that will stay to the final release. Aster because he's a joint OC between two developers, Coral and Doodle because they're a friend's OCs. ~Similarly to the last one, if you aren't a developer at SunnyDev Entertainment, Your art will not be in the game (past chapter 1 which is free). Again, copyright issues for a paid game. After all, it's not fair to charge money for a game with people's art in it who aren't getting paid for their work. ~SUBWAY SURFERS. Meow. Why. Why are you like this. I am not adding subway surfers. You're a subway surfer. 67 or whatever. >:)
Apologies for referring to anyone by "they/them" who doesn't use those pronouns. I forgot who uses what pronouns, and sometimes I forget to use pronounless language.
