An Atlantican soldier stands at patrol within the Natal Authority, holding a stolen assault-railgun rifle from an Adamnian-South African soldier he killed in battle, because it seemed better than his standard-issue one. He stands next to an alleyway, an hour away from the end of his shift, feeling safe with his powerful rifle. Unfortunately, he can't see behind himself, and there just so happens to be a family member of the soldier he had killed behind him. Reinforcements come, but they are too late, he's already gone. Is this foreshadowing something indirectly?
I don't know what Atlantican land soldiers look like, this is my guess.
