Red Diamond, a lone survivalist yet talented hacker and engineer, has long since separated himself from normal society, away from the cities, away from the suburbs and even away from the towns. He just lives as simple life, exploring the woodlands and foraging to bring back to his nice and cozy cabin he'd built for himself and only just kept expanding for years. One day, he smelt a burning smell whilst out foraging. Not naturally formed, but a campfire. After being gone from humans for so long, his curiosity got the better of him and off he went to see what settlement there was. The fire died however sometime in his trekking, but he still could locate where it was. It was abandoned. Industrial crates lined up around a pit of ash and unusable firewood, yet most of the crates were full of survival gear... or so he thought. Mainly armor and weapons. Red Diamond laughed as he thought to himself as he knew these people clearly didn't figure out survival in the wilderness. Probably crazy city folk off to hunt a folklore beast. When he found a helmet in the crate with all sorts of gear however, he found technology on it that was out of the ordinary. These were special operatives, or he thought. Even more curious, he decrypted the decommissioned mic on the helmet and found where it was sending to, but not without taking some armor and weapons for himself, carefully taking off every single electronic, anything that could be tracked, and left it in the crate. When he got to where it located, he saw a massive wall with a huge hole ripped out of it, and two turrets, destroyed, on posts nearby, and there appeared to just be normal construction workers and engineers fixing up the place, unknowingly letting him in. Staying away from the parts of the facility that seemed untouched by the destruction, he searched, finding documents, research, and classified information that piqued his interest further. One especially. The Eternal Inferno. It was one of the only ones missing, and there was a large digital locator map with two dots in the forest of which he knew, and it was quite close to the campsite. He went back to his cabin, suited up in his X-ray proof Ghillie suit and went to where he remembered the red dots were. However, when he got there, a squad of dead, charred soldiers, of which wore the same armor in those crates, lied in the snow. Red Diamond, somewhat startled, was prepared to turn back, until something glowed in the corner of his eye. A sword. He walked slowly to pick it up, as a strage claming sensation filled his body. The moment he touched the sword, he forgot all about the corpses surrounding him, and he knew that this MUST be something he takes home.
SCP Canon: episode 0 Unlike most of the others, this is much more detailed, and is more of a synopsis than a summary of the story :/ BTW, the classified information he found in the site contained documents of many other SCPs, but out of fear, Red Diamond left all of them in their drawers after reading them, but copied some notes and locations down, like the temple of shadows, which was the place where he collected his final SCP before finally joining the foundation. This was also what led him to finding many other SCPs of which he kept in his small cabin, a lot of which warped him. The copied documents he also used as a lead to further hack the foundation's databases, but he never leaked or left any trace of himself for the foundation to really care or even notice, since they were still recollecting themselves after the Eternal Inferno breached and destroyed a good chunk of their facility.
