Episode 1 of PowerPoint Battle came out April 20th 2024. Today is April 20th 2026. I don't have the episode ready and I'm kind of busy tonight so I can't get episode 8 out today, but I'll have it out later this week. (Just pretend it comes out on April 20th) Some stuff about early PowerPoint Battle: -I originally intended to make PowerPoint Battle a weekly series, and it would end summer 2024.For reasons I don't remember (probably school) episode 3 took 3 months to make, which started the trend of episodes taking a while to make. -When I first made the series Shark Tale was my favorite, so I was a bit disappointed when he got out first and was thinking about having a rejoin. It never happened. -PowerPoint Battle was just going to be a normal object show, between episodes 3 and 4 I decided to take the show in a different direction, and I came up with the plot the show currently follows. -I wanted to do a debut between episodes 2 and 3, hence why there were recommended characters, but when the current plot was created this was dropped. -The majority of episodes 1 and 2 were made while I was at school. It was during the end of 8th grade so things were winding down by that time. -In episode 1 the audio is a bit messed up because when I added music I had it play for exactly how long the slides it was playing in were on screen, but there's a bit of delay between switching slides, so the audio would stop playing a bit before it was actually supposed to. When making episode 2 I found out you can set music to stop after a certain amount of slides, and the issue was fixed. -Word was originally going to irrationally hate Google products, but I never made this. -McDonald's Sign was going to have a whole bunch of lore connected to them, but this was dropped when I made the current plot. -Word was originally going to be the "protagonist" of the series. I gave this role to Shark Tale when the current plot was made. -The gap between episodes 3 and 4 can be explained by the Santa gif. I had to trace the whole thing which took an entire month due to a mix of procrastination and demotivation, the episode was initially going to be out in September before TFOS. -After episode 4 I was going to use Thanksgiving break to work on episode 5 and get it out that week because it involves a really long drive to Kansas (where my grandparents on my mom's side lived at the time) but we never ended up going. Episode 5 ended up coming out early December. -Episode 6 was going to be the first "serious" episode of the series and work on the first scene began in September 2024 before episode 4. I lost a bunch of motivation in late December because I couldn't get 12DOR out due to a family trip I think. I remained pretty inactive until January where I made OSIC, which distracted from PowerPoint Battle. -OSIC lasted until May 2025, and when summer rolled around I had my school computer taken away, which hindered my ability to be on scratch and work on my shows. OSIC eventually ended in October after being on the final 2 for 3 months and I regained motivation to work on PowerPoint Battle in October, the episode finally came out on November 1st. Ok I'll stop yapping now episode 8 will be out as soon as I finish it
