marble_angel stood alone in Urbanshade's dock. As he sat down at a bench, their friend, TuxedoCat, joined them. The two exchanged idle conversation, catching up after months of being unable to speak to each other. When Nightshade_Shark joined, Marble introduced them to Tux. Nightshade asked what the plan was, and, shrugging, Marble said they were just going to do a run, for old time's sake before they stopped doing this all together. Tux and Nightshade nodded. They went through their usual routine: Buying supplies, messing with the panel in the sub just enough to make Marble mad, but not actually get sh0t. Tux and Marble talked almost nonstop until the light flickered. And then it was time to lock in. Marble hid in an office, Nightshade in a locker, and Tux got grabbed by Void Mass. After Angler passed, Nightshade pulled him out and gave him a medkit. Tux gave gratitude, and the run continued in a similar fashion until they reached the first Grand Encounter, the Firewall. Marble, who of course had a horrible record with the encounter, barely managed to survive, hitting as low as 2 hp. Tux and Nightshade were more successful, and the Peristherene healed them to full. Back to avoiding node entities, and a few close calls with Pandemonium, and they reached the Crystal. The three stopped, standing around and talking. Reminiscing on previous runs, hilarious deaths, memories that brought joy and tears at the same time. Marble sniffed into their mic softly as they hold back tears. Tux asked what was wrong, and Nightshade gave a spam-crouch of sympathy. Marble explained their tainted memories, ruined by the things Ren had said. Tux gave a spam-crouch, and Marble stood. The three grabbed the Crystal and made their way through the Ridge. They reached the final area, and Tux cracked a joke about dying to the third Vultus as he usually did. But none of them di3d. In the end, the last run of the three went remarkably well. Close calls and near-d3ath almost ended it early. Tux, Nightshade, and Angel all said their goodbyes. In all honesty, this was the only game that brought the three together. This last run had been just for the sake of nostalgia, and it had served it's purpose. Nightshade was first to leave. Tux and Marble exchanged a few words of affection, and then Tux left. Marble moved their mouse around idly. He opened the chat one last time. "Thank you, Urbanshade, for all the things you've given me." And with that, Marble left, and the final run ended.
