═════.❁.══════ Plant of the tn: Lily leek :D I've been wanting to do a dog art study for the longest time! And this was a great experience! So without further ado! Let's get into the art! ━━━━━━━━━━ 1. My first drawing in this art study of a Huntaway! This was me starting out, so it wasn't the best! I also started using this brush that is awesome!! 2. This was my second drawing where I clearly improved at texture and overall anatomy :D I also tried out drawing a larger dog! I forgot what type of dog this was :skull: but it's my PFP now! 3. This guy is a Taiwan Dog :3 Which did not end very well, but I wanted to try out some smaller dogs with less fur 4. Toy Fox Terrier! This was the first time I made guidelines traced from the orginal image, and also the last time. Yes they were very helpful, but I don't really need them :) 5. Here are the guidelines, which I split into shapes, which really helped me understand the body. 6. Next is this basset hound :D This dog was requested by @cosmic-wishes. I had a really hard time with all the floops and droopiness, but in the end, I did decently well. I used like 6 refs for the droopy skin, but I only really have space for one, which I referenced for the face shape of these dawgs 7. I'm actually super proud of this one! The german shepard was requested by: @swiftfootcat, and this took about an hour! The actual lineart took like 50 minutes while the coloring only took 10 minutes lol! 8. This is a xoloitzcuintli requested by @_RosyMaple_ I really wanted to try hairless dogs, and this was a great opportunity! I had a lot of trouble with the jaw but like looking at 15 pictures of these dogs helped lol, but the jaw is still off 9. This is an Irish wolfhound requested by @NoxenV I actually loved drawing the fur, and I love how textured it is. I'm decently proud of this, though I didn't really nail the tongue, I might need to practice that a bit more :) 10. This is a Newfoundland requested by @-Ray-Bees- I love Newfies so much <3 But I was not great at drawing this guy. I used the image below as a main reference for the face shape, but I did need a lot more pictures :sobs: 11. This is a Papillon requested by These guys have such regal fur, but I really couldn't pull it off, I also suck at doing small dogs' jaws and like nose, mouth, and lip areas :sobs: 12. This is a Doberman requested by I'm actually so proud of this! I also added some little earrings. I actually had pretty good anatomy with this :DD 13. Last but not least, a pretty bad drawing of a pug. I had no reference for the colors and anatomy + I was doing a speeddraw challenge, so I drew it in 5 minutes (And forgot my watermark T-T) This was a great learning experience, and I feel like I'm much better at drawing dogs now. Sorry, I didn't do everyone's dog requests. I unfortunately have a life and tons of things to do :\ Though I'll soon do a bird study, so if you want, you can comment your favorite bird down below, and I might draw it :D ═════.❁.══════
