They are “booting up,” if you will. Not fully ⬤ᰯུ here yet (pre-debut), but by the end llı ྐ᩠ׄ݁ of this album, STANDBY will solidify their place on the S-pop scene. ★ ⌢╱ TℛACKLIՖT ( ⭔ = pre-release, ⭓ = title) 1. ᩠᮫✿ິ᤻◌⠀⠀GᴀLA ( ⭔ ) ˳ ♪♪⠀ “GALA” by XG is the pre-release track to “LOADING…”. It marks STANDBY making this space theirs, before continuing on to the next tracks. Not only are we turning “Met Gala into an X-gala,” but we are making this song our own, an “S-gala.” 2. ׁ ♥︎⁎̯͡ ͏HᥡPNOTIZɆ ( ⭓ ) , ≫ The title track on “LOADING…” is a cover of “HYPNOTIZE” by XG. According to Genius Lyrics, this song plays with themes of “control and allure,” which, for our purposes, is taken out of a romantic context and into a more literal context. While the track itself sounds innocent, it is more of… our device for takeover. ^ WE NEED CONTROL ^ 3. ˚̣̣̣͙͏ ❀⃝PIℰRROT ও━╋ “Pierrot,” originally by LE SSERAFIM, is a happier and more fun song (literally, and not just sonically like HYPNOTIZE). It’s main themes are personal liberation, and just empowerment in general. When STANDBY feels the need to give up, this serves as a reminder to keep going. What will happen if we don't? 4. ◌⃘★ DRAɱA ٫̷ ♪ᭂ To close out "LOADING..." we have a cover of DRAMA by AESPA. This song has a darker feel, contrasting with the other songs on the album which are more upbeat.
