(I didn't get rid of any of the code in case anyone who reads this wants to see what I mean) Okay so first off check out the animatic made by Willow herself, it's really good and all characters belong to her Now, the whole song is about someone (Alice from Alice in Wonderland but in this case Coral) losing their mind and trying to cope with delusions and stuff. It's rather obvious that Coral has been going down this path as in the story itself she has been a bit more distant with everyone and has been questioning what the point of this all (if I remember correctly) She makes 4th wall breaks more often than before (her first in ch. 6 but as a plot device) and in the Abstraction MAP, Coral is like "trust everything is fine, I'm not going insane" where she is not alright and her eyes get smaller over time. Now onto the lyrics of the song itself: Alice, Alice, heart and soul Fell into a rabbit hole Dreamers dream until they don’t Lost her mind a while ago Alice, Alice, don't you know? Wonderland was all a hoax Made it up so she could cope Madder than a hatter Alice broke So in verse 1 it displays Coral being fine (beginning chapters), witnessing something (I believe it might be current if not past, but possibly future) and then shows her claws suggesting she may hurt someone (I'll get into that soon) Now in verse 2 it shows Coral appearing to fall with two fellow beings near her and 2 sets of eyes, possibly the place where Neoma resides and the eyes being hers as well but this could be a red-herring. Also the monsters, they kind of remind of the ones from that MAP part Willow was working on with Spectator, maybe Spectator summoned them? Verse 3 is lipsyncing but basically is talking about Coral possibly trying to deny what is happening and that everything is an illusion until... it isn't (because it isn't unless...) Verse 4 is Coral losing saneness (currently) and having different backgrounds. Now I know Willow stole these- I mean borrowed, and they probably have no affect but I was looking at the code, sprites and costumes and I couldn't help but notice that one of them said "you are no longer welcome here. Leave immediately" and another said "You're not real, everything is a lie, nothing is real, wake up " suggesting what Coral is thinking currently. Now the "you are no longer welcome here" one is the one I'm more concerned about, did Willow choose this background specifically because the group could possibly turn on Coral because of her actions, did she betray? Does the group later hate her? Now in verse 5 Meteor is shown lip syncing introducing the idea that he is involved with whatever happens later and is probably trying to tell Coral something, maybe even trying to tell her this is all real but it's cut off showing Spectator in Verse 6. Verse 6, Spectator is here and is saying everything is a hoax, could they be the reason why Coral is thinking like this, it's never really shown why she just breaks (unless I missed something) Could they've been a voice Coral has been having who's been talking to her this entire time, could Coral be told to do something bad and that's why she's more distant?? ALSO THEY ARE HOLDING THE STAR OF FAITH? COULD THEY HAVE HAVE SOMETHING OVER METEOR OR CONTROL, MAYBE THR3ATENING CORAL THAT SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN TO HIM IF SHE DOESN'T COMPLY??? Verse 7 is just her inner thoughts of "nothing is real" being her way of trying to cope. NOW VERSE 8 is important, it shows what could be assumed as someone's paw (maybe Meteor because his paw is out at the end of it) but it shows Coral's eyes looking up worried and then it flashes showing Meteor's outline now red. DOES THIS SUGGEST CORAL DID SOMETHING AND BROKE HIM??? I mean the lyrics did say: "Madder than a hatter Alice broke" Like mad hatter but mad means insane/crazy in this context and broke meaning Coral drove Meteor to the point where something bad happened to him. Now the ending in Verse 9 is just black outline of them both, Meteor's paw still out as the screen drifts away, an ominous ending. Now what is my take on this, well: 1. Coral does something bad, possibly betraying the group and has been talked to Spectator and maybe Neoma who made her make a bad decision. She does this to Meteor and the group kicks her out and turns on her because of her betrayal. 2. The Spectator is the one talking to Meteor or is involved with him (I mean they are holding Flame's star so they are already in that situation where Neoma already talks to Flame so this is possible) This would mean Meteor is trying to convince Coral to join him and Spectator on their side for self benefit (Spectator wants out right?) and they get Coral specifically because of her unstable state. 3. (Joke but could be a major plot twist) It was all a dream that Coral had- Anyways, that's the big boy analysis I gave y'all, sorry if you tried reading this :') I love yapping about media, especially comics :D Characters - ALICE - PEGGY
