this is specifically supposed to be a HiveWing from Wings of Fire, dunno if I've captured it. but anyways! while rereading arc 3 I noticed that the dragon bodies are very round in the front, and after examining the curves for a while, decided to try to do a sketch of my own! click for next 1. basic circles and curve 2. leg beginnings 3. leg 1 4. leg 2 5. it didn't look right without the other legs 6. trying to make the chest more chest 7. basic tail outline, just to make it more balanced 8. fixing the tail 9. tried to do a neck. it'll look less wonky in a sec 10. trying to make the chest more chest (2) 11. back 12. trying to make the chest more chest (3) 13. circle to guide for top wing 14. basic structure of top wing 15. circle to guide for bottom wing 15. basic structure of bottom wing 16. cleaning it up 17. adding more to wings 18. adding more to wings (2) 19. more cleanup 20. ...look I tried. 21. it looks better now right 22.
