In Tanakvik, a utopian communist world, sits safe, sound, and loved. Everyone is employed. The government provides a list of adequate jobs once one graduates from their education, employment is calibrated for each individual's interests. The only job offered for everyone is military service, spare the physically deformed. The pay check, doesn't exist, nor does civilian currency. With the advent of the internet, Tanav citizens may make direct requests to their local Soviet office for their necessary materials on a weekly basis. In the past, they were issued around five paper request booklets a month. Within the current government Material Delivery Service "MatDelS"s website, sits replacement foodstuffs, clothing, which includes a universally issued pair of blue party overalls (common wear for farmers and laborers), technology devices, vehicles, personal weapons (for upstanding, loyal workers), Freedom of Information Releases (FoIRs), and other essential and non-essential items. Every year start, (Jan 1st), the FedSov gives every citizen a new pair of Soviet flags for adournment in their living quarters, old flags are to be handed to MatDelS officials for proper disposal, and job pins are given for workers' clothing to serve as employment identification. To "pay" for these services, one must be employed, and one must provide adequate reasons which are approved by MatDelS officials, so lets say one rips a shirt, they take a picture and send it to the website where a replacement can be issued. Once one graduates the education circuit they may choose between all available products in a controlled, coupon like system. Said items chosen will be supplied by the MatDelS upon entry into the work force. For foods, every person recieves the same amount each week, unless one is allergic, to which calibrations are made.¹ The purpose of the MatDelS' food section is to provide replacement for possible spillage, the extremely rare rot, or other errors in food handling and production. To "pay for" replacement, one must work, and cannot exceed a certain number (10) of replacements per month, unless extreme circumstances occur, otherwise they will be added to their Oblast's "Waster List", until 30 days without event are met. If one is a continued offender, further consequences will occur. All Tanakvikians have the offer to register for entry into the Communist Party of the Soviet Federation, though only 49% of the population are party members. Also in January, is the Worker's Congress Elections, and in mid July is the People's Congress elections. All workers may vote, first on which of three candidates may ascend to the aforementioned congresses, then on the candidate's policies. Of course, once a candidate enters the congresses, they already have a voter base and so enter their full positions with their policies usually untouched. Everyone knows that their duty is to each other, and the Soviet Federation, so any candidate which is removed after a state investigation is left at that. Trust in the Tanav government has been at an all time high. The welfare state is very heavy, with free government provided healthcare, repair work, and other essential services. Services regarding money, don't exist in the civilian world, except the secretive government "Emergency Defeat Currency Distribution Network." The EDCeN is a government bank designed to, in the case of the fall of the Tanakvikian communist utopia, provide the people of Tanakvik with monetary means of revenge, survival, and remembrance of the communist culture under capitalist oppression. The EDCeN is in possession of enough counterfit and real foreign money to give each Tanav citizen such currency as to buy a mansion in Cat Angeles' Catverly Hills. On housing, most Tanav citizens live in apartment blocks built in the 2010s, during the late Premier Kolichenco's last 5 year plan. These apartments usually have one bathroom, a bedroom, a living room and an attached kitchen for single Tanavs. For families of three to four, bedrooms are expanded to two. For families of six plus, bedrooms are three per apartment, along with an additional bathroom. This division of rooms allows for a spacious feeling, along with the wonderful color-schemes throughout the apartment exterior, leaving those living within to feel content when they wake up, and go to sleep. For these rooms aswell, residents can do repairs, change color schemes, or do anything they want within their apartment aslong as it doesnt interfere with their neighbors. Thick walls and floors prevent noise distribution, while heavy doors allow safety from, non-existent robbers. On crime and lawbreaking, the communist dream has consistently provided, and crime is almost exclusively relegated to the far rural areas. Robberies are an extremely rare occurance, and when they do happen, the (enter Oblast here) Police Section [PolSec(s)] makes quick work to catch, and imprison the robber. --
-- Once imprisoned, the stolen goods are fully replaced by the MatDelS to the robbed, and the robber gets to go to a trial. Trials, always, have a jury of non-involved individuals. In recent years, Soviet law has placed within its system, an AI program to determine guilt among thousands upon millions of factors to streamline jury collection. This AI system, has been used to fairly and evenly apply punishment to 37 criminals over the past three years. On the work week for every worker, 4 day work weeks are accompanied by 3 weekend days. All citizens must atleast work for 32 hours a week during these four days, but, if wanted, may take up more hours, or work into the weekends, this is uauslly expected by the society. If workers are efficent enough, and exceed quotas, they may be promoted. A society of excellence, loyalty, and capability fills every crack of Tanav as a nation, with those who ascend the ranks of the world being both loyal to the Soviet cause, while also being the cream of the crop in their respective fields. Within the higher ranks of the world, sit some of the most capable individuals. Bureacracy is commonly forced out by higher powers to ensure effectivity, and no leader wants to be demoted, so, effectivity stands. For vacation and off time, every worker is given two full weeks of sick leave, and are given a week of vacation time. Of course, workers may take more once depleted if a doctor signs a sick waiver, or may take none at all. On matters of travel and transport, massive rings of roads, bullet trains, and airships exist to transport civilians throughout the city scapes, and oblasts. For cars, civilians have access to over a hundred different electric models, and may choose coloring, accessories, and recieve guaranteed access to energy for charging. These vehicles were put into service in 2019, and all gas and fossil fueled civilian vehicles have been outlawed within the south, where the cold doesn't bite as bad. In the north, civilians may choose to use gas powered cars, but are recommended to use electric to conserve said gas in case of an extreme emergency. On trains, large scale networks have been in place around, and connecting, the major cities in Tanakvik since the early 2000s. The two most major bullet lines being Lyningrad to Moscon, and Catingrad to Moscon respectively. There is one bullet line from Moscon to Dakingrad. These bullet lines are commonly used by party members in their duties, and are used by the military to quickly move personnel and light equipment throughout the country. On airships, the century old pride of urban transportation, is the largest remaining use of airships in the modern world. Airships are used to transport large amounts of goods, passengers, and in some cases vehicles, across city scapes cheaply, and efficiently. As winter comes in, the ice on the ground is usually very dangerous, and so, large scale networks exist to move workers between their workplace, and scheduled drop off, and pick up areas. Many tourists come to Tanakvik solely to ride on these airships, enjoying the modern takes on a multi-century idea. The last major accident with an airship was in 2019, where one crashed into the Moscon Canal, resulting in the deaths of two flight officers, fourteen workers, one Tanakvikian security correspondent, three foreign security officers, and Vespacian Diplomat, Micheal Kramer. This accident was ruled a disaster, and caused immediate investigations, resulting in the removal of an unnamed maintenance worker from airship maintenance, to construction work. 1 = ( "Three times a week workers may order food outside of their allocated amount, these foods may be of foreign origin, or this may be waved." ) More will be touched on later, this is just like, part one. The image is from the Vespacian documentary, "A Red Life." Which attempted to showcase the evils of communism in 2004, the documentary would be cancelled in 2006 after budget shortfalls, and a lack of actual visual material after tour guides noticed they were recording, and confiscated all recordings.
